When Pugtato’s simple, quiet life is disrupted after he digs up a strange object in his garden, he enlists his best “spuddies” to help (they are more clever than he is, after all). Review
Meet Pugtato who is a kind hearted spud. He’s got a lot of friends (of course Purrsnip was my favorite) and he needs to ask them all a question. What is this thing he’s dug up? Each spuddy has an idea of what it could be and what it should be used for but Pugtato knows he hasn’t figured it out yet. A final friend gives him some good advice – “Oh, little Pugtato you must follow your heart. For it holds all the answers and sets you apart.”
The illustrations are fantastic and made me laugh at the clever combination of animals + veggies. Pugtato is inquisitive yet also caring of this strange thing he’s found – “I may not know much but I know when I see … a Thing that needs hugs so here’s one from me.” We all need a Pugtato in our lives.
