May Book Club Nominations Are Open
Enter your nominations in the comments section. It must be a book released in April or May of 2007 but can be anything from non fiction to fiction to romance to fantasy. We love new authors and we love midlist authors. After a week, we’ll take a look at the nominations and pick a few books. The books will then be voted upon by the readers to determine the book club selection. The “winning” book will be treated to a review by Jayne or Janine and a video review by Jane. Nominate away.
How about the new Loretta Chase or the new Julie Anne Long?
How about struggling no-list eBook authors? I recommend anything from the Phaze catalog
The Little Goddess Series by Amy Lane.
Here is her Amazon profile page: Amy Lane
I was going to nominate Meljean Brook’s Demon Moon, but I think it won’t be out until June. Mmm, how about Armstrong’s No Humans Involved or Gennita Low’s Virtually His?
I vote for the Loretta Chase – Not Quite A Lady
How about Into the Darkness by Delilah Devlin, or Pleasures of the Night by Sylvia Day, or Sasha White’s Lush.
I have a few… Curveball by Kate Angell, Into The Dark by Cindy Gerard, and The Demon You Know by Christine Warren
Hmmmm, how about Night Life by Elizabeth Guest aka Suzanne Simmons? (Again a paranormal story based in/around a casino (after Raintree:Inferno), but with Egyptian vampires). Or the Wild Things anthology out in May.
Or the Object of Love by Sharon Cullars? I heard good things about her book Again, and I’d be curious how her next one turns out.
Yeah… I read The Object of Love by Sharon Cullars. It was pretty good. I nominate that. It’s Cougar Lit, yo!
I’d nominate IMMORTALS: THE CALLING by Jennifer Ashley. Then again, I’m a little biased.
In the ebooks category: BONDS OF DARKNESS by Joyce Ellen Armond from LSB
For romance, Lucy Monroe’s Satisfaction Guaranteed. It’s the being of a new series.
For fantasy, either Kelley Armstrong’s No Humans Involved or Charlaine Harris’s All Together Dead. Both books are part of a continuing series.
Shannon Butcher’s No Regrets
Ooh, I’m really curious about Shannon Butcher’s book.
Wild Things Anthology
I read and reviewed Bonds of Darkness back in January and liked it, Mrs. G reviewed it,gave it an 88, so it might be a nice to generate some interest for a debut author.
But then the new Chase should be interesting too.
Any of the three :D
I’ll nominate Sandra Schwab’s Castle of the Wolf.
Oh, I read about this ages ago and forgot about it. I’d read that one, too!
Can I be totally lame and cheesy and nominate my own book, “Karma Girl?”
