Happy News – “Guy Plans Epic Disneyland Proposal, Fiancée 1-Ups Him With an Impeccably Timed Space Mountain Photo”
And more happy news for today.
Disney Proposal – Jordan Williams proposed to his fiancée in the place she loves best – Disneyland.
Sure, Jordan planned an epic proposal at one of his annual passholder-fiancée’s favorite places, but Sonni wasn’t about to give up the spotlight that quick. Having an extensive knowledge of all the rides’ cameras, Sonni knew exactly when she’d be photographed on Space Mountain – and rather than take a typical photo of her new ring on her finger (OK, OK, she did that too, DUH), she decided to take the engagement ring selfie of all engagement ring selfies while on the coaster.
Now that’s a selfie.
The mother of a Waffle House shooting survivor got the waitress who saved him a wedding dress – A terrible event leads to a sweet pay-it-forward from a survivor’s mother.
When Vickie Davis learned a Waffle House waitress saved her son’s life, she went on a mission to track her down and pay it forward.
Her son was inside the Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee, where four people were killed in a shooting in April. Davis’ son credits his survival to a young waitress who asked him to switch seats so he wouldn’t get wet as she washed dishes.
Because of the waitress, Davis’ son was farther from the gunman when he walked in.
Vickie Davis kept trying until she got in touch with Virginia Stanley then paid for the dress for Stanley’s upcoming wedding. But Davis isn’t finished yet.
Davis says her next project is to try and help Stanley get a service dog to assist her with stress and anxiety after the shooting.
“I’m on a mission today to try and find someone to donate her a service dog,” Davis said. “I don’t know how, but I’ll do my best to make it happen.”
