On sale now
I just happened to see that Barbara Hambly’s “Bride of the Rat God” is currently on sale for $1.99
And I just noticed that “The Silent Tower” is also on sale. It’s the start of Hambly’s “Windrose Chronicles.”

Another long time reader who read romance novels in her teens, then took a long break before started back again about 25 years ago. She enjoys historical romance/fiction best, likes contemporaries, action- adventure and mysteries, will read suspense if there's no TSTL characters and is currently reading more fantasy and SciFi.

I’ve owned this book since you reviewed it in 2011. Maybe this will be the reminder I need to finally read it.
Will I regret this purchase? Will it float on my kindle app for years into the future? Or perhaps I should read it now since I’ve been dissatisfied with most of my reading choices these past couple of weeks.
@LML: I hope you won’t regret it at all. And when you’re finished, you can then read the sorta, kinda follow up to it that uses different names for the same characters. Scandal in Babylon – unfortunately not on sale right now.

@Jenreads: I owned it for a few years before I finally got to it. Then I kicked myself for not reading it sooner.
