Rachel Aaron’s Dragon books were really enjoyable. The main character is a sweetheart and there is a slight romance (the characters are not the most emotionally aware people). One thing I am amused by is how mercanary the female character is. Actually, I kinda love it.
I second the Rachel Aaron Heartstriker series. I have the third book on preorder (releasing August 5, I think).
I simply could not get into the Aaron series and DNF’d the first book. So many people seem to love it, tho, so maybe I need to give it another shot–maybe in audio.
I think I may have to pick up that book on the Sistine Chapel–it takes me back to when I read The Agony and the Ecstasy many years ago as a teen.
Another vote for Rachel Aaron’s Heartstriker series. It’s one of my favorite UF series right now. Definitely no romance, but really likable main characters and fun plots.
