Curry James knows how to cope with being left alone.
Still living in the same white farmhouse where she grew up, Curry watched those closest to her leave—her parents by tragic death, her husband to war, and her best friend, Tom, who walked away because he couldn’t deal with being left alive.
Then one day, without warning, Tom returns. Curry appears as down-to-earth as she ever was, but her survival has come at a cost and now it’s up to Tom to help Curry re-open her heart to life’s joy.

The New York Times bestselling author of Wallbanger and Rusty Nailed is back with Nuts, the first in a brand new series set in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.
Roxie Callahan is a private chef to some of Hollywood’s wealthiest, and nastiest, calorie-counting wives. After a dairy disaster implodes her carefully crafted career in one fell ploop, she finds herself back home in upstate New York, bailing out her hippie mother and running the family diner.
When gorgeous local farmer Leo Maxwell delivers her a lovely bunch of organic walnuts, Roxie wonders if a summer back home isn’t such a bad idea after all. Leo is heavily involved in the sustainable slow food movement, and he likes to take his time. In all things. Roxie is determined to head back to the west coast as soon as summer ends, but will the pull of lazy fireflies and her very own Almanzo Wilder be enough to keep her home for good?
Salty. Spicy. Sweet. Nuts. Go on, grab a handful.

Even after years of the rock-and-roll lifestyle, Paddy never forgot the two wickedly hot weeks he once shared with Natalie. Now he wants more…even if it means tempting Natalie and her iron-grip control. But there’s a fine line between well-behaved and misbehaved—and the only compromise is between the sheets!

Tails of Wonder and Imagination by Ellen Datlow $ 1.99
From the Jacket Copy:
From legendary editor Ellen Datlow, Tails of Wonder collects the best of the last thirty years of science fiction and fantasy stories about cats.
I just wanted to post a warning on the cat collection (because of course I have it) — the stories do not all have happy endings and in more than one the cat dies. There are some fantastic stories in there but I remember being really upset when a book I figured would be a light comfort read took a sharp left turn!
Lauren Dane’s Hurley Brothers series were among my favorite reads last year. She does grown up contemporary romance so well. The second one is my favorite, but they’re all really good and can stand alone without reading them in order.
