A little spendy for daily deals, but Sherry Thomas’ books are 3.99. His at Night, Delicious, Private Arrangements and Not Quite a Husband. All spectacular reads.
This was already mentioned today in the news post, but fwiw, The Bride of the Rat God by Barbara Hambly is on sale, along with other Open Road Media books – http://www.openroadmedia.com/venndiagram/
I have only read one book in that Elizabeth Hoyt series but Thief of Shadows does look tempting
Hoyt’s Maiden Lane books are set in the Georgian period, so they’re a choice for readers wanting a switch from Regencies.
I keep hoping that Garwood’s “The Secret” and “The Prize” will go on sale. I loves them. So, so much.
Thanks for the heads up about the Sherry Thomas books. NQAH is my very favorite by her.
Hoyt’s books are Georgian, not Regency (1730s I believe for this series).
Hoyt’s last two books – Thief of Shadows & Lord of Darkness – are my favorites of hers now. ToS also features a virgin hero and an older heroine.
Every time Hoyt comes out with a book I hope I will like it and never do. I don’t get it, I really should love her books, I read the reviews and think I love all the stuff in this book. This is my kind of romance novel but then it doesn’t work for me. I wish I could figure out the reason.
@melissa l: Me either. Not my cuppa.
The Lyon’s Lady ~”Lyon being constantly befuddled. It was awesome. Sigh.”
I so totally agree! This was the first book I put on my iPod. I can pick it up anytime and really enjoy the time I’m waiting for appointments.
