With a leak at the CIA and a price placed on her head by one of the world’s largest arms dealers, Fortune has to go off-grid, but she never expected to be this far out of her element. But as the investigation begins, more and more secrets surface, and Fortune realizes that sometimes nothing is as it seems.

Re: the new theme – For the subscribe without comment option, “subscribe” used to be color coded to indicate a hyperlink. I tried it any way because I’m so used to using it and it’s still a hyperlink, but those who haven’t been chronic non commenters might not realize it’s there.
I liked the Tiger’s Eye. It was old-fashioned, but unexpected in many ways. Alec’s a Cockney-born crime king, not a duke and Isabella is a married Countess. Robards makes it work. The ending could have wrapped up quicker, but all in all, I’d recommend it.
That said, I’ve been using Riffle for books and writing reviews, but it appears to be dying. Does anyone have another suggestion or should I go back to Goodreads?
I liked “Tiger’s Eye” and thought it was well done. Alec is charming. He thinks of himself as far older and more worldly wise than she is, but he’s only 6 (IIRC) years older and Isabella is able to hold her own. She’s smart and unafraid to act, without being too modern in attitude. Definitely worth the read.
