A LILY AMONG THORNS is one of the most romantic stories that I have ever read, and anyone who loves beta heros as I do will be enraptured by a hero is fundamentally decent, sexy, and heroic in the best way. Also great for those who love prickly heroines who won their sexuality and are not stripped of *all* their edges by Tru Luv.
But be aware there is some sexual shaming (which, to be historically consistent, could hardly be avoided) and some may find the depiction of a couple of the secondary characters … problematic (it’s hard to say more without spoiling major plot points). Love Rose Lerner. Sweet Disorder was a favorite discovery- I need to read it again!
