Desk Jockey Jam by Ainslie Paton. $ Free

Here’s the blurb:
Whip it meets Wall Street
Anthony Gambese thought he had life sussed. Happy family, good mates, the freedom of surfing, a new career, and enough action in the bedroom to keep him well satisfied. He had no idea. But two chicks were about to show him the error of his ways, trashing his love life, stealing his promotion and challenging his honour. And that was before he discovered what a roller derby doll could do by skating over his heart.
Like a roller derby jam, this novella is tight packed, fast and furious.
It can be read alone or as a follow up to Grease Monkey Jive. It tells the story of Ant Gambese, the last of Dan’s mates not felled by a girl who was exactly what he needed, and didn’t see coming.
I liked Grease Monkey Jive a lot so I can’t wait to see what happens to Anthony.

Not Until You by Roni Loren. $ Free at Goodreads
From the Jacket Copy:
From the author of the Loving on the Edge novels comes a story of a good girl who discovers that once you dare to cross some lines, it’s hard to turn back…
On the night of her graduation, innocent veterinary student Cela decides to play a game of Never Have I Ever with the two hot neighbors she’s been quietly crushing on for the last year. Always the prim and proper student, Cela thinks she’s earned a wild night before she has to move back home under the watchful gaze of her family. But what starts out as a simple game is about to take a very sensual turn…
Ian Foster is tired of playing games. With his membership to The Ranch, an exclusive BDSM resort, and a musician roommate named Pike who brings home groupies with a taste for ménage, Foster has a life most guys would kill for. But lately, his need for dominance is no longer satisfied via one-night stands. He craves the full surrender of one woman—a submissive of his own.
But when his quiet, sweet-as-sugar neighbor shows up at their door with a bottle of tequila and an invitation, Foster decides he and Pike may have time for one more fling…

“At the Duke’s Wedding” seems to be $2.99 everywhere.
Not that that will stop me. I loves me some anthologies…
At the Duke’s Wedding is showing up as 2.99 at Amazon.
Sorry folks apparently the price is $2.99
I seem to remember the last anthology from those authors had a lot of filler in the form of excerpts from other books. Anyone read this one and can comment on the length of the actual stories?
Just finished Grease Monkey Jive. Really enjoyed it so this free offer is quite timely.
@Ros: I’ve read all the stories. :-) There are no excerpts. Each novella is 150-175 pages, and they are only related to each other (not to other books by any of us authors).
I hope that helps.
@Ros: Thanks for the question!
@Caroline Linden: Great! I’m off to Amazon to do some 1-clicking.
Thanks for Ant’s story. I love Ainslie Paton.
I did quite a glom after reading Grease Monkey. I appreciate your reviewing it and bringing it to my attention.
The only roller derby romances I’ve read were Shelly Laurenstons shifter books. I’m interested to see how non insane violent roller derby reads.
I’m really dating myself, but when I was young they used to have roller derby on tv after school. I loved it and never missed it. (RIP Joanie Weston.) So, natch, I had to pick up Desk Jockey Jam. Thanks.
Speaking of roller derby, some of Laurenston’s female shifters skate for a roller derby team–love those scenes, too. (Oops–Mary beat me to the punch here!)
