Friday Top Ten from Love Romance Passion, Keira
This Top Ten list is from Keira who maintains the website, LoveRomancePassion. She's a longtime romance reader, a new Kindle owner, and a junkie for USA TV shows. She loves marriage of convenience plots and angst ridden breakups that ultimately end up in gooey happily ever afters.

Keira, this proves why your site is my go-to site for romance recs: I think you’re responsible for half the items on my wish-list. I love how LaVyrle Spencer has three slots on your list!
Keira, I think we need to be friends :) SEALed with a Kiss by Mary Margret Daughtridge is my favorite romance; I have several copies and should probably get a digital version because they do better with wear and tear LOL And I most of the other books you listed are among my top reads too! I’ll have to check out the LaVyrle Spencer books!! Thanks for sharing your top reads.
@Annemarie Hartnett: Yeah, I had to limit her to 3. I would also recommend Hummingbird, Separate Beds and Vows but I figured over half of my top 10 was a little much. lol :D What can I say she was my first romance author and I basically stole all my mother’s copies of her books.
@Hot Like Sauce: I lent a copy of Charming the Prince to a friend, never to be seen again. I wore out the replacement. I’m on a third copy. Digital might be the way to go, definitely!
Another LaVyrle Spencer fan here. I loved all of her books but I think Years and Small Town Girl were my absolute favorites.
@Keishon: Never read that last one I don’t think. Puts it on my must find, beg, borrow, buy or steal list.
I picked up Sealed with a Kiss for free in April when All Romance was having their earthday giveaway, but I hadn’t read it yet. I guess I’ll have to move it higher up on the TBR pile.
@Keira: Oh Small Town Girl is vintage — country singer heroine released when country music was big in the 90s. Very dated compared to her historicals but still a great read today.
I never met a romance I didn’t like, except for most historicals, LOL, and the ones I find crude…and possibly sci fi ones. I like time travel.
I like a lot of LaVyrle Spencer’s. I love Hummingbird. I loved the Hellion. I laughed so hard at that one, tossing beer cans into the field…
@JenM: That’s how I picked it up too. I liked the other SEALed books and was excited to read the first. It’s fabulous!
@Annemarie Hartnett: Ah… the “modern” romance but not the “contemporary” romance. Got it!
@Karin: I’ll have to read the Hellion again, it’s been a few years since I cracked its spine.
Thanks, Keira, for your list! I laughed at your quick bio as I, too, am a junkie for USA shows! We are visiting Tampa for the summer, so my children asked if we can drive to Miami (where I grew up) to check out the film locations of Burn Notice(and maybe drop in on Heather Graham!)
I’ll add your website to my growing list of websites to visit!
@Kim in Hawaii: I’m so excited about the new season of Burn Notice!!! :D Luckily I have my DVR set up to record new episodes b/c I forgot to watch Thurs. At least I got to skip commericals!
