I've coveted a DA review for a while now and I'm pleased. Yeah, it can be hard to write the "I want but I shouldn't have" tango without making the hero or heroine, whoever's doing the resisting, look like a mental case or a douchebag. And honestly in that time period, I don't envision a lady making advances like Catherine does. But I also didn't want Jim to come across as a needy, grabby, obsessive guy, who wouldn't leave her alone after she told him "no", so I had her make the first move on the second go around. Anyway, this story is a particular favorite of mine and I hope readers give it a try despite, or because of the unusual content. Thanks a million, Jayne, for reviewing this.
