Updated: We are extending the promotion until Friday (today) at 11:59 pm EST.
Avon put together this really lovely giveaway to celebrate the start of the new Stephanie Laurens‘ series, The Black Cobra Quartet. The premise of the Black Cobra Quartet is that there is a British traitor who is the head of the Black Cobra cult, an organization that is terrorizing villages and setting up a reign of fear in Bombay. Evidence has been gathered to deliver to the England but given the scope of the Black Cobra influence, it is determined that the four British officers who have this information will split up and make their way back to England separately in hopes that at least one of them will be able to deliver the incriminating evidence and put a stop to the Black Cobra.
You can read the prelude to the series here and the first 20 % of the launch title,

Untamed Bride, here.
The winner of this contest will be sent this gorgeous Vera Bradley bag stuffed full of the entire Laurens backlist (almost 30 titles). To enter, simply leave a comment about a) your favorite Laurens book OR b) if you haven’t read a Laurens, what book of hers interests you the most.
This contest is sponsored by Avon and will run until Friday November 6, 11:59 PM EST. Updated: This contest is for US residents only. Sorry folks.

I have only read one work by Stephanie Laurens – “The Fall of Rogue Gerrard” from the It Happened One Night anthology. I enjoyed it, but I have heard people say that her earlier books are really good, particularly “Devil’s Bride.”
My favorite Stephanie Laurens is A Secret Love. While I love all of the original Bar Cynsters, Gabriel’s story is the one I love to revisit. The mystery in this one is a bit different from the norm–centering around fraudulent investment schemes. The dynamic between Gabriel and Alathea is markedly different from the rest of the series because they have known each other all of their lives. It is an awakening of possibilities rather than a serendipitous chance meeting that drives the romance. And all of the secondary characters are so carefully crafted that they stay with you long after you’ve read the last page.
I haven’t read any Stephanie Laurens novels yet. Since I’ve heard many fabulous things about her Cynster novels, I’d have to say I’m very intrigued by DEVIL’S BRIDE, the first book in that series. :)
I love DEVIL’S BRIDE most, I think, but recently read ROGUES’ REFORM (a collection of 3 stories by SL) and have much love for those stories. It’s really hard to go wrong with a Stephanie Laurens pick, IMO.
I KNOW I’ve read 2 Stephanie Lauren’s books but for me to recall the titles, I need the entire backlist to dig thru and read ;)
I know I have read her in the past but couldn’t name the best one.
Ohh! I’m so excited about this contest! What a great prize!
My favorites are On a Wild Night and On a Wicked Dawn. These two stories were great, and I really loved the protags in each, but especially the heroines. The stories were just what I needed, and really helped me cope with some personal stuff at the time…by taking me so completely away from what I had going on.
I’m really looking forward to the Black Cobra Quartet, too…I’ve read the prelude and the excerpts from both the first and second releases in it, and I’m excited to see where they go!
Oh, I can’t choose just one favorite…but did really enjoy Dalziel’s story Mastered by Love. I still remember reading the first Cynster novel and loving that the heroine was no wilting violet and that the hero decided he wanted her and set out to get her. He was definitely a different type of hero and I liked him better than some of the ones I’d been reading!
It’s hard to pick between Devil’s Bride and Edge of Desire and …
I was lucky enough to meet Stephanie Laurens, briefly, at RWA last year, where she won a RITA.
Don’t enter me for the contest, though. I have all her backlist on my keeper shelf.
My favorite Laurens is Devil’s Bride. But I really enjoyed the whole Bastion Club series as well.
A Secret Love is my favorite one I think, because childhood friends turned into something more is a favorite troupe of mine, and she did it so well.
Haven’t made my way through all the Cynster books yet, but I liked both Devil’s Bride and Scandal’s Bride so far. Please enter me in the contest. Thanks!
I haven’t read a Laurens’ book, but I keep hearing so much about them I wouldn’t mind giving her a try. I’m most intrigued by Devil’s Bride, since it’s the start of the Cynsters.
The Ideal Bride… but I think it’s ’cause it was my first. Sigh.
I loved the whole Bastion Club series and the original Cynsters.
I haven’t read any Stephanie Laurens yet . . . and it seems like I’ve been missing out! Just the little synopsis of the new series – Black Cobra Quartet – has me hooked. And Devil’s Bride also sounds great.
Goodness, it would have to be Devil’s Bride–because I picked it up not knowing who Laurens was at first but just so intrigued and then so rewarded upon reading; because it introduced me to a whole slew of yummy Cynsters and their as-fiery wives; because Devil and Honoria rocked my world in two very different ways [I wanted to be Honoria and I wanted to *insert action verb here* Devil]. Devil made you want to say, “C’mere you stoic marshmallow you”–I love how he knew he wanted Honoria, and he pulled all the stops. He pursued her so freaking dreamily.
And know what?–and this is why I loved that book so much–Devil never said those three words [I luuuurve you] to Honoria. And I’ll go ahead and say it: It’s the mark of good writing when it doesn’t matter to the reader [i.e., Me] when those words aren’t said, especially when said reader [i.e., Me] likes those words very much. You know Devil loves Honoria. Honoria knows Devil loves her. Devil sure as hell knows he loves Honoria. And Laurens was skillful enough–made of so much awesomesauce, in technical speak–to pull that off without the words.
The bestest bestest bestest epilogue EVER in the history of epilogues is when, a couple of books later, Devil and Honoria are plump with joy and lurve, looking over their brood–and Devil tells her the words.
I SWOONED.
I’ve only read one Stephanie Laurens novel yet, The Promise in a Kiss. I really enjoyed it, as well as a number of her short stories that I’ve read in various collections (I love winter holiday story collections). I think the sheer number of her books has overwhelmed me, and the fact that so many of them are part of a series. Winning her entire collection would certainly take away the “where to start” question!
The first Stephanie Laurens book I ever read was A Secret Love and it still remains my favorite to this day.
Margay
I just (within the last 2 weeks) reread Devil’s Bride. It was the first Laurens I read and I remember being wholly caught up in it and unable to put it down. I seem to recall I went an extra stop on the train that day. I’d have to count that as my favorite.
While I’ve made it throught the majority of Laurens’ Cynster series (and loved nearly all of them), my favorite is still Devil’s Bride. I can reread that book until the end of time. It would go to a deserted island with me!
I was recently given a recommendation for Devil’s Bride and loved it!
I haven’t read any Stephanie Laurens novels yet, but I’ve gotten several recs for the Cynster series, so I’m most interested in Devil’s Bride.
Fantastic giveaway! Like most, I adored Devil’s Bride. I can’t read it often enough.
Thanks Jane and Avon!
I’ve never read her books before, but I’m most interested in Devil’s Bride.
Yeah I loved Devil’s Bride too, but there is just something about A Fine Passion that I just love. Second choice would have to be Scandal’s Bride. But really I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the beginning of the Cynster series..oh and I liked A Rogue’s Proposal too. See I can’t pick just one :)
I’ve enjoyed many Stephanie Laurens novels, but my favorite is Devil’s Bride.
I haven’t kept up with the entirety of her backlist, but oh I remember checking Devil’s Bride out of the library and devouring it that same afternoon. Good read!
I’ve never read her! But having browsed through some of her backlist, I think Devil’s bride seems quite interesting – and this seems to be confirmed by many of the ladies here.
Wow! What a fantastic contest. Please enter me in this contest, because I would love to win Stephanie Laurens entire backlist of books. My favorite book of hers would have to be “Devil’s Bride”. You have to love those Cynsters, although I haven’t been able to read the Bastion Club series yet. Thanks!
I haven’t read any of Stephanie Laurens’ work yet, but I have heard good things about Devil’s Bride.
I haven’t read any of her books yet, but glancing thru her catalog, it seems that THE UNTAMED BRIDE would not be a bad place to start, since it’s the beginning of a new series.
I’ve never read any Stephanie Laurens, but have heard good things about Devil’s Bride and A Fine Passion.
Scandal’s Bride FTW. IIRC this is where I “found” the series. I’ve got the whole backlist in the keeper trunk – but I’m not letting that stop me. ;)
I’m most interested in Reading The Devils Bride because it’s the first in a series and heard wonderful things about this book. Always like to start a series from the beginning. Everyone always recommends her.
this has got to be the best giveaway ive ever seen. i love Laurens’ writing style and have the Cynster family tree memorized!
On a Wild Night is just *one* of my favorites, i love regency heroines with a streak of wildness going on secret adventures with the hero!
I really enjoyed A Lady of His Own and Devil’s Bride. They are those cold day, snuggling with the dogs on the couch kind of reads…can’t beat that!
I just bought this one, The Untamed Bride. I am currently reading another one of hers, and I can’t remember the title. Something about the reasons for marriage. Its not with me at the moment. So far I’m really enjoying her writing style. I’ve read many good reviews for her books here and other places. Please throw my name in.
Thanks!
I haven’t read a book by Stephanie Laurens yet, but I really want to read Devil’s Bride. I’ve heard many great things about the book so I really want to check it out.
Just reading Sasha M.’s comment makes me want Devil’s Bride! I don’t know how I haven’t read a Stephanie Laurens book yet!
I haven’t read any Laurens books yet but if I can read them out of sequence, The Untamed Bride looks pretty interesting. Nicely done cover art.
One of my all time favorite historicals is Devil’s Bride, book 1 in the Cynster series.
I’m really looking forward to this new series!
Oooh… I haven’t read any Stephanie Laurens yet, but I’ve been meaning to read Devil’s Bride for a while now, and am in fact currently waiting for it to come in at my local library! And Sasha M.’s comment only makes me want it more.
Oh yes, please. I’m still a sucker for Han’s “I know” in Empire, I LOOOOVE when it doesn’t have to be said. Sign me up. Can’t wait to get my hands on that book.
Also, this new series? WANT. I am a big old sucker for books set in India.
I’ve loved every Stephanie Laurens’ book I’ve read (which hasn’t been nearly enough). My favorite thus far is the prequel to the Cynster books called, I believe, The Promise in a Kiss–such a great comfort read, since I haven’t yet read Devil’s Bride.
I would so love to win this contest!
I haven’t read any Stephanie Laurens yet, I’m not sure how I missed her. I would love to win!
My first Laurens book was A Comfortable Wife (I still do a re-read when I’m looking for a comfort read), then it was the Lester series and then every release since then.
What a great gift package—
Thank you Jane and Avon and Stephanie!
I have always wanted to read her books. With this new series I think I will finally start and know I will probably be reading all of her backlist.
It would have to be the classic “Devil’s Bride” but I glommed up all the early Cynster novels and loved them all.
I prefer the earlier Cynster novels and I think its a tie between A Devil’s bride and Scandal’s bride. Gotta love those CYnsters!! I also liked her earlier books esp the Lester series which featured the sister-
My favorite Stephanie Laurens is “Captain Jack’s Woman”. I’m not so much a Cynsters fan….
WOOT! One of my favorite subjects to talk about- Stephanie Laurens and her Cynsters. For me, Ms. Laurens sets the standard for Regency Romances and, in particular, DEVIL’S BRIDE comes closer to perfection than any other romance I’ve ever read. It’s my go-to comfort read when I need a dose of Happily-Ever-After, which seems to occur at least once a year for some reason.
Recently, instead of a re-read, I was thrilled to find the AUDIO download of Devil’s Bride available through my library. OMG! The narrator, Simon Prebble, was WONDERFUL! At first I was a bit taken aback with his choice of voice for Devil, but then I realized that Devil absolutely would have had that aristocratic tone to his voice- he’s a arrogant freakin’ Duke, after all!
FYI- over the last couple of years, I’ve emailed Ms. Laurens with questions about availability of audio books for a couple of her books and assumed her PA would get back to me when s/he had time. Imagine my surprise and delight that Ms. Laurens personally answered my emails herself! SQUEE!
Anyway, one of those questions was whether Devil’s Bride would ever be re-released in consumer edition audio book form in addition to the expensive library editions. So HEADS-UP sistah-fans of Devil’s Bride, it is now available for download from Audible and on CD from Amazon and other bookstores. WOOT!
P.S. I can haz prize now, Jane? ;-D
I have not read any of her books yet! ; ) But Devils Bride seems like a good one to try and her new series sounds interesting!
My favorite is Devil’s Bride. It remains on my keeper shelf.
My favorite Stephanie Laurens book is On a Wild Night! Has one of my ALL TIME fav Heroines in it! :o) I would just gush if I won this contest! Thanks for having it out here for us!
You don’t need to enter me, but I just had to say that Devil’s Bride actually is one of my all time favorite comfort re-reads. I love that book in a huge way. I’ll definitely check out the new series when it releases.
I’ve never read a Stephanie Laurens book, but my friend Angela James keeps recommending her to me… so this prize would be fabulous!! Apparently I should REALLY be looking forward to reading Devil’s Bride! ;)
I think the only Stephanie Laurens I have had a chance to read is her contributions to the Scottish Brides anthology. I did enjoy it, and have been meaning to read more of her work. I think the Bastion Club series interests me most, and I always read books in order, so if I don’t win, my next purchase will probably be Captain Jack’s Woman.
I do love the Devil’s Bride because it was my first and after all, a girl always remembers her first:-)
OMG OMG — this is an absolutely AWESOME giveaway! So, I hate to confess it, but I am new to Stephanie Laurens. Ironically, it was only recently that I was told of the error of my ways. So I am most looking forward to this book, The Untamed Bride, because it is the start of a new series and I will be learning about the characters and world at the same time as everyone else! (Then if I win, I can surreptitiously catch up on her back list!!!)
Thanks so much for the contest!
I love Vera and Stephanie Laurens so it’s a treat to enter this giveaway. Stephanie is one of the first romance writers I glomed when I got back into romance reading and Devil’s Bride will always be my favorite.
I loved DEVIL’S BRIDE, and I really want to read SCANDAL’S BRIDE because I have heard great things about it. I hope to one day make it through the entire Bastion and Cynster backlist. Winning this prize would really help me reach that goal!
Devil’s Bride, obviously, but I also enjoyed A Lady of Expectations. :)
I’m a Stephanie Laurens virgin (shame on me) and like others, I have been overwhelmed with the where to start in the backlist blues. What if I can’t find all the books in the series, in order?? Oh Noes! Well! Winning this would solve all those problems(!) and give me a nice bag to boot( I love Vera Bradley).
I love the premise of Lauren’s new series, so I think I’ll start with Untamed Bride. I will definitely give it a go whether I win or not.
Thank you Jane and thank you Avon for the great prize.
I have not read her work yet. Untamed Bride is my first introduction to it, so its probably the one I want to read the most right now. But if the rest of her backlist sounds this good I cant wait to dig in.
Stephanie Laurens is my “comfort” author — I love her Cynster’s series and my fav Cynster is Gabriel. I can’t wait to hread Untamed Bride.
Stephanie Laurens is one of my favorite authors, and high on my ‘comfort reread’ list.
I like them all, but I think my current favorite is To Distraction from the Bastion Club series.
I’ve enjoyed quite a few of Stephanie’s books, but since I have to pick I’ll go with Scandal’s Bride. I like the connection between the hero/heroine and the overall feel of it. Since I have so many of hers I haven’t read yet, I’m really hoping to win this. The bag is super cool too!
I just finished my first Laurens book, Mastered by Love. I think perhaps it wasn’t the wisest choice to come in at the end of one series (The Bastion Club), that was also (I think) tied in with another series (The Cynsters). Still, I enjoyed it and am looking forward to trying more, particularly the forthcoming Black Cobra Quartet (and Devil’s Bride, as everyone seems to think it’s too delicious to miss).
@Sasha M.: It mattered a lot to me that he never said it, actually. I didn’t mind that he didn’t say it at first, but I really, really wanted him to say it by the end.
Oh and no need to enter me in the competition. I don’t really go for the Vera Bradley look.
I have never read her books, but Devils Bride seems to be the one I should start with. Sounds really interesting and intriguing. Thanks for the chance!
Haven’t read a Laurens yet, but the new book sounds really good. LIke the premise a lot!
I have not read any Stephanie Laurens books yet, I think. The Cynster books sound great, and especially want to read The Devil’s Bride.
I’ve never read Stephanie Laurens, but I have been thinking of reading Devil’s Bride because I’ve heard so much about her Cynsters series. I am the type who has to start with the first book of a series even though they are usually fine to read out of order. After reading here that so many people like Devil’s Bride, I will definitely have to get it.
i love The Devil’s Bride..for some reason that story really does it fo rme!!
My favorite is Gabriel’s story–”A Secret Love.” It was my first. Which then led me to read the entire Cynster series….
Devil’s Bride. Firsts in a series are the often best, and this one was pretty loveable.
What a fantastic giveaway! I’m like everyone else; it’s tough to pick just one. Even so CAPTAIN JACK’S WOMAN will probably always be my favorite. In all honesty, I don’t remember much about the book, only that I rogued it from my grandmother’s bookshelf. It was one of the first books to turn me on to historical romances. For that I will always be grateful to Ms. Laurens. To win this contest would mean getting reacquainted with some old friends. Thanks for the opportunity.
Devil’s Bride is my favorite Laurens book. Think I’ve read most of the original Cynster novels, but not her other series.
how do I choose just one? Let’s see… Probably 5 of the first 6 of the Cynsters, plus the one with the artist. Then the Bastion Club. And oh, the novella about Devil’s parents.
Can’t just choose one!
The first one I ever read by her was Scandal’s Bride, and it’s still a good one!
My first Laurens’ book was Devil’s Bride which I read about a month ago. I really enjoyed it and have Captain Jack’s Woman in my TBR to read next. She’s a great writer and I look forward to reading her many other books.
For me it’s all about Captain Jack’s Woman. It’s an early, non-series one, and it makes me really, really happy.
I haven’t read any of Ms. Lauren’s books yet (I’m relatively new to romance) but someone recently recommended the Bar Cynster books and I just bought the first one. (I have to read them in order!)
Thanks for the chance at this amazing giveaway!
Devil’s Bride is my favorite Stephanie Laurens book.
Apparently the only Stephanie Laurens I’ve read is her offering in the It Happened One Night anthology but I’ve always wanted to read the Cynster novels.
I haven’t read any of Ms. Laurens’ books yet but the one that intrigues me the most is The Untamed Bride because it is the first in a new series!
I haven’t read any of these books yet. They are going to have to go on my reading list, starting with Devil’s Bride.
I’ve never read Ms. Laurens, but On A Wicked Dawn sounds like a delightfully fun read. I like a heroine who knows what she wants and goes after it. Adding her name to my ever growing list of authors to check out. :)
I’ve read the first 10 or so Cynster novels. Laurens’ books are comfort reads for me, since I can always count on a well-written story with alpha males and feisty women. My favorite is A Secret Love…I’ve always liked the friends-to-lovers plot. One of the best writers in the grenre!
My favorite hero is Devil Cynster in Devil’s Bride but I think my favorite story is actually Four in Hand. I just laugh my way through that book every time I re-read it. :)
My favorite one is A Secret Love. May have to do a re read soon.
My favorite Cynster novel is Scandal”s Bride because of Catriona.
Devil’s Bride because it’s the first one I read.
My favourite so far has been A Lady of His Own.
I just started reading Devil’s Bride and love it. Can’t wait to read more in the series.
I don’t think I’ve read any of her books. I’m trying to think why, because she definitely looks like my kind of author. I think Untamed Bride looks very interesting, but maybe Devil’s Bride, based on all the recommends it’s getting here.
I haven’t read any of her books but I am most interested in reading The Untamed Bride. I have heard a lot of good things about it in other blogs. After reading the synopsis, I am more than eager to get my hands on a copy. :]
Hard to choose a favorite – the first one that comes to mind is A ROGUE’S PROPOSAL. Loved Demon Cynster!
While Captain Jack’s Woman is a near second (and the first Stephanie Laurens novel I read), Temptation and Surrender is my favorite. Em’s curiosity, independence, adventurousness, and devotion to her family make her easy to like and relate to, and her siblings are simply adorable. Jonas is a typical Stephanie Laurens hero, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Temptation and Surrender has a nice balance between the romance and mystery/adventure side of the story: just enough of each so that I don’t get bored of either.
“A Lady of His Own” and “To Distraction” are two of my favorites. I love both her Bastion Club and Cynster series.
I’ve never read her but looking at her backlist…. Many of them appeal to me! And it seems by the look of the comments that Devil’s bride is a favourite!
I haven’t read any of Stephanie Laurens’s novels, but A Secret Love sounds very interesting, I love the hidden identity angle.
I’ve never read any of Stephanie Lauren’s books, but everyone seems to be saying such good things about Devil’s Bride!
I think The Lady Chosen sounds like a book I’d enjoy. The Bastion Club series sounds very intriguing….
I recall reading her story in the It Happened One Night anthology. I’ll have to give her other books a try.
I, too, am in the category of love all the Cynsters. Couldn’t choose between them if I had to. A definite comfort read for me as well.
I love that I am getting to the stage where I can read all of them once a year or so and still not get bored. That is my silver lining for getting older.
Scandal’s story is my favorite. I particularly liked that he was a strong enough male to take a subservient position to a female and yet not be diminished in any way. The love scenes had more genuine feeling and less intellectualizing.
I think the first Laurens book I read was The Reasons for Marriage. It made it to my keeper shelf several years ago & I still re-read about once a year.
Of the Cynsters, Devil’s Bride has been my favorite – it’s on my keeper shelf too.
I love the original Cynsters and would have enjoyed being swept off my feet by any of them. However, my two favorite books have to be Devil’s Bride and All About Passion.
I have not read Stephanie Laurens but I have read rave after rave about Devil’s Bride and it’s on my list to get one day.
I loved A Lady Of His Own and I’m really looking forward to her new series.
I absolutely adored Devil’s Bride and Scandal’s Bride. I loved her heroines in these stories.
I had read Captain Jack and enjoyed it and have been with Stephanie Lauren’s ever since.
I think my favorite would be the one that introduced me to Ms. Lauren’s work…Devil’s Bride.
The Untamed Bride will be the first Stephanie Laurens I have read! Don’t know how I have missed reading any. So thought I would start this series when I saw it this weekend.
I haven’t read any of her books, but would love to try! I would have to start with Devil’s Bride, because the Cynster Novels sound interesting, and I can’t imagine starting with anything other than Book 1!
A Lady of His Own is my favorite. Thanks for the contest!
Loved The Devil’s Bride. Honoria and Devil make a great, smart couple.
I’ve read quite a few of her books and I’d say that my favorites are the ones of the twins, On a Wild Night and On a Wicked Dawn. I love twin books for some reason. I think the second is my favorite, I rather like the girl proposing.
I’ve only read one SL book so far–An Ideal Bride–but it left me wanting to read more.
I’m still really a newbie. . . a long time ago I did read two reprints from Harlequin which I liked, but didn’t get my first long novel until the last newest with Mastered by Love which I did rather like. :)
Lois
Hmmm. Everybody, but everybody loves DEVIL’S BRIDE, and I do too, but there is something so rainy-day reassuring about A COMFORTABLE WIFE, so I’ll go with that.
I am really intrigued by the Black Cobra series and have Untamed Bride on my wishlist.
The Untamed Bride will be my first read from this author. The older books sound good too after reading these comments. Thanks, Sue
I haven’t read any of hers yet, but reading from The Untaimed Bride interested me enought to buy the Kindle version.
I haven’t read any of her books yet. The new quartet sounds interesting. Great contest.
My favorite single book is Devil’s Bride — it is the one that I re-read the most. However, my favorite series is probably the Bastion Club.
I loved the early Cynster books, and pretty much every single Bastion Club book (although Mastered by Love is currently residing at the top of my to-be-read pile, but I’m sure I’ll love it too).
Wow, what a great giveaway! My favorite SL books are A Secret Love and The Ideal Bride. Thanks!
I think that The Untamed Bride would be an interesting book to read.
I have only read two Stephanie Laurens’ books, Devil’s Bride, and All About Love (I think) and two novellas. I’m looking forward to read her novella, The Fall of Rogue Gerrard. Her new series also looks pretty cool!
Devil’s Bride, and then the one with Scandal. The early Cynsters are just wonderful!
I’ve never read Stephanie Laurens, but my sister-in-law is a huge fan, so I would love to win this for her. :-) As to which I like to read, I’ve heard Devil’s Bride is excellent.
Laurens definitely started me on my Regency obsession. My favorite book is The Truth About Love. Gerrard and Jacqueline are my favorite Laurens couple. The Gothic touch in the book just does it for me. It reminds me of the classic Gothic novels I have read but adds a sexiness that I love. I enjoy all of Laurens’ books and eagerly await each release. I’m looking forward to her new series, especially since they are all coming out so soon!
My favorite and most memorable Stephanie Laurens book has to be A Rake’s Vow. Stephanie Lauren was one of the first romance authors I was introduced to when I started reading historical romance. I hate having to start in the end or the middle of a series and then go back but A Rake’s Vow was the first book I managed to get and I was thankful that it was only the 2nd book of the Cynsters series!
It’s been a while since I read a Laurens title but I recall really enjoying ALL ABOUT PASSION. All of the early Cynsters were great but I needed to take a break to avoid them seeming to be repetitive.
I just saw the update. I’m Canadian, so please discount my entry. (It’s comment # 3) Good luck to everyone else! :)
I enjoyed Devil’s Bride very much. :) This new series looks interesting, though; I’ll have to keep it in mind.
Favorite Laurens book has to be Devil’s Bride. Ultimate alpha, strong female and great mystery. I love the beginning of series and as the characters were introduced I could not wait for their stories. I am read the Untamed Bride and I am excited to read more.
Lord, I HAVE to start at the beginning of a series, so Devil’s Bride, of course!
What a fandamntastic give-away!
Like so many, Devil’s Bride and the her early Cynsters.
Devil’s Bride was the first Laurens book that I read, so I always have a soft spot for it.
This is so exciting!
I’m actually really intrigued by the sound of the Black Cobra books. I love the Indian setting, and the mystery suspense angle is what always hooks me in.
Shame on me – I have not read any. But I love the cover and preview of one you featured here – pretty bride on cover.
I have never read a Stephanie Laurens but I do have her “All About Passion” in my TBR pile. This new series sounds great!
Thanks for this wonderful giveaway. The Devil’s Bride would be my favorite ever.
Gack! I have so much catching up to do coming in “late” to the Romance genre! My list is constantly growing…
Browsing through her website, I think the Bastion Club novels look really interesting. I’ve always enjoyed a good bachelor’s club story! Seeing everyone recommend the Cynsters has me adding those to my list too.
I haven’t read her books but The Untamed Bride looks and sounds interesting! :)
Thanks for the giveaway! :)
My favorite has still got to be Devil’s Bride… I have tried to loan it out so many times, but every time I try, I need to re-read it!
Wow, it’s so hard to pick a favorite, but I’d have to say “Devil’s Bride” would top my list of favorites from Ms. Laurens. Thanks for the great contest and what a great prize that is!!!
Some of the first romances I read were by Ms. Laurens and they will always be re-read favorites. But I would have to say my favorite is Captain Jack’s Woman.
I’ll have to go with Captain Jack’s Woman as my favorite. It was also my first SL book.
Nothing compares to “Devil’s Bride” for me, but I’m willing to give it 29 more tries! Thanks for offering this amazing giveaway.
I’m a big fan of A Secret Love. My mum turned me on to this particular book since it’s her favorite as well. You never know if you’ll share the same interest in a book but we were on the same page and I remember that wonderful heart-clenching romantic feeling throughout the entire read. Not only is it great to share an appreciate for Ms. Laurens with my mum but I had the opportunity to meet her in person earlier this year and she was so warm and friendly. It makes me enjoy her books that much more!
My pick would be The Lady Chosen…..
On a Wild Night, then A Secret Love, but all of Stephanie’s books are keepers and rereads!!
i love the bastion club series……..i have just about all of them and they are just great……i can read them over and over again
“A Secret Love” and “A Rogue’s Prosposal” are my favorite books of Stephanie Laurens though I love all of her historicals. I quit reading several years back as I did not find an author who captured my interest, my mistake!! Now I am trying to catch up on all the books that I have missed the past few years. There are a lot of great authors out there with Stephanie being at the top of my list.
I have not read any of her books, but this is an amazing givaway! And the book of her’s that interests me the most is ‘MASTERED BY LOVE’, though they all sound really good!
A secret love. I’ve actually given up on SL so I would really like to win this and see if I was wrong. I LOVED her early books.
I have not read any of her books yet but I’ve heard great things about her from my sister. She tells me I need to start with Devils Bride. Actually they all look good to me. I would love to win her books.
Hands down A Secret Love is my favorite. It was one of the first romances I ever read and it still sticks with me.
I have never read a Stephanie Laurens book, and because I am intrigued by her Cynster series, I would have to say that I would most like to read Devil’s Bride, because I like to start at the beginning.
I haven’t read any of her books, but I sure have read some great reviews on Goodreads and Amazon Romance Forum. I would be thrilled to win one of her books. Thank you the contest!!!
A Secret Love was my first SL book. I knew there were previous books in the series when I bought it, but it sounded so intriguing that I couldn’t wait to read it. So I read that, loved it, and then read the rest of the Cynsters out of order.
I love a lot of SL’s books, but A Secret Love remains my favorite.
My favorite Laurens book is A Secret Love. This is the very first book I read by her (way back in 2001) and remains my favorite because of this fact.
Wow, this is a great giveaway! I haven’t read any of her books yet. Like a lot of others, I would like to read Devil’s Bride since I have heard a lot of good things about her Cynsters books.
I’ve been a fan since “Devil’s Bride.” Her titles are amongst my “keeper” racks. I’ve had to replace some titles because the books got so tattered. I’d suggest readers start with “The Promise in a Kiss” and to not miss “Captain Jack’s Woman.” While the books stand alone, it’s more fun to be in from the start.
What an amazing giveaway! I’ve never read any of her books, but having visited her website the Cynster novels look amazing. I’m really intrigued by the elements that are different than most Regency novels and would love to explore them more!
I’m probably in the minority, but I really enjoyed the Amanda/Amelia Cynster books “On a Wild Night” and “On a Wicked Dawn.” I’d only read Devil’s story before hopping to these two and I think it kept the characters from feeling overdone.
Mastered by Love! Great book! One of 2 I have read by Stephanie. I would love to read more of her books.
I’ve never read any of her books, but I’ll definitely be checking this one out. Anything with an Indian conspiracy as background information sounds fascinating!
I’ve only read two of her novels. They are: The Truth about Love & Beyond Seduction. I would love the opportunity to read more of her work. Great contest!
Of the Cynsters, my favorite is Scandal’s Bride. I loved how the hero relocated for the heroine!
Of the Bastion Club, I liked Beyond Seduction best.
I’ve only read A Secret Love but I’d love to read more.
Wow–having to pick a favorite, I realize that my memory isn’t all that great (I think this is why I need to re-read them all). The first book I read by Stephanie Laurens was Lucifer’s story (All About Love) so that one resonates with me. Of the (comparatively) more recent titles, I really liked something about The Truth About Love although don’t make me try to explain, please.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE A Secret Love. My favorite book of all the Cynster stories closely followed by Devil’s Bride. I think I’ve read this six times, and that’s only since the beginning of the year. I am drawn to storylines where childhood friendships develop into something more and no one does romance like Stephanie Laurens.
Okay, I tried posting this earlier and it didn’t go through. So, here goes another try!
Picking a fav. SL book is so difficult, but I’ll have to go with A Secret Love. It’s not only one of my favorite Laurens books, but also one of my top romances ever. Loved it!
I’ve not read any of her books but they do look interesting – the cover shown of Untamed Bride definitely looks interesting. Please put my name in the hat if it isn’t too late.
I recently re-read Devils Bride and really enjoyed it.
Picking a favorite is way too difficult, though I’ve very partial to the Bastion Club novels!
I loved this latest book, The Untamed Bride. I loved having all of the series come together.
I started reading Ms. Laurens with more recent books and went back to read all of the Cynsters. At the time I was checking 13 books out of the library and the librarian commented that some series would never be able to work a series that long without it becoming repetative but that I would love this one. She was right, I was hooked and now I can’t wait for the next one.
Wow. Glad you extended! Really fabulous! Can’t wait to check them out!
I love Stephanie Laurens. All I have to do is see her name on the cover to know that I am going to enjoy the book. She has such an amazing style and flair to her writing that is unique. It eels like she really writes what she enjoys to write and is blessed that so many people love her work. She is an inspiration for an aspiring writer such as myself.
I haven’t read any of these yet, but after browsing through the lists, I’m going to make a note to pick some up. Maybe start with The Cynsters series. What’s not to love about Regency England!
I loved Devil’s Bride and I’m on the waiting list at my local library for Mastered by Love. I can’t wait.
I think I have read all her books. The most memorable rapscallion is Captain Jack. I loved the twin girls ( Amanda and Amelia) two books as well. The whole Cynster family. And finally the Bastion Club series.
Wow, there are so many of Ms. Laurens books that I love. I think my favorite might be On a Wild Night. I love all the Cynster series. They are always wonderfully written and have dash of humor.
I became hooked on Stephanie Laurens with the very first Cynster book (Devil’s Bride). Since then I look forward to each and every new release. Her plots are always well thought out, the characters are engagings, the dialogue is realistic, and the stories keep you entertained throughout the entire book.
I have enjoyed every Stephanie Laurens book since the beginning. I don’t think I
can just pick one.
I love all her books. They are like old friends that you like to go back to revisit over and over. If I had to pick one it would be Devil’s Bride.
What I like most about Stephanie Laurens as a writer? Every word she writes. I’ve been reading Regency Romance books for about 5 years now and she is one of the author’s whose new titles I know in advance I will enjoy. Especially when she brings out a new Cynster novel. I enjoy those most of all. And I pour over the family tree to line up each family and the connections. I always feel that along with the romance, I get some intrigue and mystery and a lot of old history of England, London and surrounding areas. I am a true fan.
I love Stephanie Laurens’s books. I have read everything she’s published. I can’t wait until the final 5 Cynster novels come out, and I have already started collecting the new series of books-The Black Cobra Quartet. She is one of my most favorite authors.
I’m barely making the deadline here. My favorite Stephanie Laurens book is “Where the Heart Leads”. To me the 19th Century London background made this book memorable beyond anything. Of course her books are always rich with detail that takes you away and captivates you with another time and place.
Thanks for the opportunity! Indigo
My favorite Favorite FAVORITE Stephanie Lauren’s book is Devil’s Bride. It’s the first book of Stephanie’s I read. I loved it so much that not only could I not put it down, I went out to my local bookstore and bought each copy of every other book of hers that they had.
I have read so many of Stephanie Laurens’ books! My sister-in-law and I pass this author back and forth all the time. I raid her stash and she raids mine! I have read almost all of the Bastion Club series and some of the Cynster. My favorite (who’s name escapes me at the moment!) was of the young lady who was almost debauched on a dare. She wasn’t actually, but in the end, her reputation suffered anyway! I loved how the characters came together after that.
I haven’t read any of Ms. Laurens books but I think I am going to stop and pick up Untamed Bride this weekend. I really like the sound of the heroes.
I haven’t read historicals in a couple of years. Maybe this will bring me back to reading them.
I have been reading Stephanie Laurens books for years and she caught me with the Cynster family. I have gone hunting for all books written by her. I have reread all Cynster/Bastion Club books many many times
Thanks for this wonderful contest. I have read every Cynster and Bastion Club book published to date. It is very hard to pick a favorite. I loved Amanda & Amelia’s stories in On a Wild Night and On a Wicked Dawn. I absolutely love Stephanie Laurens’ writing! I recelntly gave the first four Cynster novels to my co-worker and now she is hooked.
Any of her books on the Cynsters starting with Devil’s Bride are worth reading and rereading.I am looking forward to the new series.
I loved all her books and wait for each one to come out in paperback so I can buy and own all her books. I read them all in chronological order. As for my favorite, it has to be a tie with The Taste of Innocence and A Secret Love. Then, Devil’s Bride and Captain Jack’s Woman are a close second, with Scandal’s Bride a very very close third. Again, I LOVED each one. I also loved Amanda and Amelia’s books. Since the Bastion books are done, I’m anxiously awaiting more Cynster books along with The Black Quartet books. I LOVE ANYTHING BY STEPHANIE LAURENS.
I love Stephanie Lauren’s books. I have been reading historical romance for 10 yrs. I have all that she has published. Picking just one is way to hard. But I love the Cynster’s. I’m reading “Where the Heart Leads” right now.
The Black Cobra series looks like it will be great. I haven’t read any of Stephanie Laurens books, but after reading the excerpt from Untamed Bride, I’m adding her to my list.
OH MY GOODNESS!! A duffle complete with Stephanie Laurens Backlist, I almost fell off my chair!
Let me tell you, I love her books. I randomly picked up Beyond Seduction and fell in love. Simon Cynster is one of my favorite heros of all time (along with just about every Cynster male) I can not wait to tackle her new Black Cobra series. I read the prelude and was hooked. It made me cry… at work. I was hard to explain to my coworkers why I was so upset. Ms. Laurens has a way of getting into your heart with her characters and writing.
Devil’s Bride is my fave! And a chance to fill in my keeper shelves with the rest of SL’s backlist? Awesome idea…. sign me up! ;)
My favorite Stephanie Laurens is Where the Heart Leads
Scandal’s Bride is my favorite. I love how Catriona is introduced to the whole family.
I love all Stephanie Laurens books but i too loved Devil’s Bride the most. Keep the great books coming!
Haven’t read any of her books yet; looking forward to starting with the new one, then working back. Thanks!
I am looking forward to reading “An Untamed Woman,” I think it will be a nice change from the Cynster novels…I do like how the characters from the Cynster novels have appeared in the Bastion Club books. One of my favorites is “Captain Jack’s Woman.” Love the historicals!!
I would have to say that Devil’s Bride and A Secret Love are my favorites. Oh, and her story in the Scottish Brides collection (with Julia Quinn and Christina Dodd)! It really is hard to narrow it down with so many great titles in her backlist :)
I haven’t yet read any of Stephanie Lauren’s books – but Devil’s Bride sounds very interesting. Thanks!
All of her books are a must read and will not leave you disappointed, but I am a fan of the Bastion Club series.
My wife LOVES Stephanie Laurens’ works and I buy her Ms. Laurens’ books every time they come out. I leave them on her pillow or various other places, and then give her enough alone time to read the book cover to cover by taking the kids out for a day.
I know that she would love this set of books as a permanent collection.
The Untamed Bride currently interests me most because I know she hasn’t read it yet.
Thank you for having this contest!
I love Captain Jack’s Woman and Devil’s Bride. :D I would love to get the rest of her books, sign me up! :D
Devil’s Bride is my ‘favourite’ but only b/c it’s the first of the Cynsters. I love them all. The earlier Regencies are quite good too.
I liked Devil’s Bride, and Edge of Desire, but I haven’t read them all yet, LOL! There may be other fave’s in there, too!
I love the Cynster books…my favorite is probably Scandal’s Bride
Would love to donate the backlist to my public library if I were to win as the library budget is getting smaller and smaller. And that Vera Bradley paisley duffle bag would make a great book bag. Here’s to a nice daydream….
Laurens’ books are yummy to read! Love the dialogue between characters, especially the women with the quick retort. Will break out laughing while reading. Absolutely think the comments from the older dowagers like Lady Osbaldstone are a hoot and crack me up. Favorite story is the Christmas novella about Devil Cynster’s mother and favorite character is Barnaby Adair. Can’t wait to read more casebook novels.
My favorite is usually whichever one of hers I’m currently reading! :-)
I guess my all-time favorite would be “A Gentleman’s Honor.” And I’m really enjoying her latest, “The Untamed Bride.” Seems like she’s ramped up the action/adventure part of the story, which I think is fantastic!
I just this last year started reading Stephanie Laurens and must say I can’t wait until her next book comes out. I thoroughly enjoy her books. I am one of those readers that when I start a book and it’s good I can’t put it down until I am finished. Ms. Lauren’s books are definitely never put me down books. I have not yet read all of her books but they are definitely on my list to do so. So far I have only read the bride series and love them. Keep them coming. Thanks so much for the great books.
My favorite? Choose just one? Oh, dear. I’ll have to go with A Secret Love. Though I enjoy them all, Gabriel and Alathea’s story is the one I find myself reading over and over again.
I don’t think I’ve read any of Ms. Lauren’s books, but the reviews sound wonderful and I can’t wait to become an avid fan.
Thanks for the great give-away opportunity. The only thing more fun than an armload of books would be a Vera Bradley bag full of books.
I love all of Stephanie Laurens books. Having the pick just one is so hard. My favorite one is the one that I am reading at that point in time!
But I really enjoyed Devil’s Bride!
I have read at least 35 books by Stephanie Laurens and I loved every single one of them. I really enjoyed The Bastion Club Novels, and the Cynster Novels are fantastic. I just purchased,.The Untamed Bride, and I am looking foward to reading it. I read her monthly newsletter, and can’t wait to see more of the Bastion Club, or the Cynster characters in future books. Stephanie Laurens is a outstanding author and I love her books. Please keep writing them and I will continue to buy them. Thank You so much for putting Joy in my life. Sincerely, Fran Huff
@Fran Huff: Please enter mein the contest.
I’ve read many of Stephanie’s books, but I’d have to say Devil’s Bride is probably my favorite. It is the mark of a great book when it still stands out in your mind, with such detail, so many years later! I am excited to begin reading a new series.
Recently discovered her books. Look forward to reading them all
I have only been reading Stephanie Laurens for the past year and can’t find a lot of her earlier books. I love both her historical novels and her modern mystery books!
My favorite Stephanie Laurens’ book would have to be a secret love. one of my favorite plot themes is old friends turning to lovers and this book is that. I also love Gabriel :)
I love Stephanie Laurens! Her Cynster Series was awesome! I’m actually re-reading them now (half way through The Devil’s story now)!!! I know I was supposed to talk about my favorite book of hers, but the whole series is my favorite!
It is hard to pick a favorite, as they are all so great. Each of the Cynster books has its own unique perfectness. If forced to choose however, my favorite is A Secrert Love. The decision to embrace your inner temptress and be rewarded with something you never knew you always wanted is so magical for Althea. Gabriell’s journey is just as rewarding to read. I look forward to the Bastion Club and the Black Cobra series over my winterbreak.
Best of luck to all of us very deserving readers and fans!

Oh, gosh, to pick one book of Stephanie Laurens that I liked the most? That would be very difficult.
I would have to agree that I thoroughly enjoy(ed) the Bastion and Cynster series.
Her books are always a ‘magical escape’.
Have not had the opportunity to read one of your books, but would love to change that with winning this contest and getting a chance to read them all! Thank you very much for the chance!
I really enjoy all of Stephanie Laurens books, but especially the Bastian Club Series.
I love the Cynster books! I love the series, can’t wait to read this new one!
I never met a Stephanie Laurens book I didn’t like, but I think my all-time favorite is ‘Devil’s Bride’…the very first Cynsters book! Love, love, love it! This new series sounds like another winner for Stephanie.
I have read every Stephanie Laurens’ book that I can find…I have even special ordered a couple that my bookstore didn’t stock. I am not sure that I can pick a favorite. On every visit to the bookstore, I always check the stock filed under “L” and when I score a new title for Stephanie Laurens, I know that I am in for a great read.
Devil’s Bride is a book that has been recommended to me, thus I have been planning on reading it.
I have enjoyed all the Bastion Club novels. It is difficult to choose a favorite. ‘A Gentleman’s Honor’ is currently at the top of the list. I have not yet read ‘Mastered by Love’ but I am eager to see how the mystery of ‘Dalziel’s’ identity is resolved.
‘Where the Heart Leads’ is my favorite of the Cynster spinoff books. The development of Inspector Stokes character is something I’d like to see more often. Examining the lives of characters in different levels of English society at the time of these stories adds a freshness to the historicals.
Sometimes as in ‘Temptation and Surrender’ there seems too much dwelling on sexual tension and not enough secondary character development, plot development, or action. I enjoy the stories that develop the sensual aspects of the characters’ relationship but result in the reviews like those for ‘Captain Jack’s Woman’ (another fav).
I haven’t yet read a Laurens book but she is recommended by some of my other favorite writers! In addition, I love the setting and period described for this new series.
Hello, No I haven’t read a Stephanie Laurens book yet—but Untamed Bride sounds intriguing. Maybe I’ll start there.
LOVED Mastered by Love and all the Bastion Club books. Have read a few Cynsters, but enjoy everything she does.
I have read most of Ms. Lauren’s books; I especially like the Cynster series; I am trying to find all of her back copies that I may have missed; and/or have not read and would like a list by series of all of her books. I have read some of them 2 or 3 or more times. I’m addicted
Thelma DePelma
I am currently reading “The Untamed Bride” and I believe I’ve read every title of S.L.
I would absolutely FLIP if I would win an autographed collection!!! Keep up the great work!
The book that stands out the most in my mind is Devil’s Bride. I become addictied to any writer who tends to write books that are of a series. I can never wait to read the next. Keep it up!
I LOVE STEPHANIE LAURENS! She is by far my favorite author! I have ALL of her books so far. I love to swap books with friends but I will not loan these out! I have read both series through twice and I cant wait to start the new series! Please keep them coming Stephanie!
Love the Cynster series, my favorite is Devil’s Bride.
I have read all of Stephanie Laurens’ books up to date and have enjoyed each one. Her characters are so real it is easy to fall in love with them. My favorite books are the Bastion Club series. Now that is one group of hunks I would like to meet. Next up on my reading list is Black Cobra series. Stephanie Laurens is one of my favorite authors and I always look forward to her next book.
I have all of Ms. Laurens books including the latest, which i loved by the way. I think my favorite book will probably be the next one. Can’t wait the new series is great so far. I really would love to have new copies of her books because I have read mine so much that they really are showing wear and tear except for the hardbacks. Looking forward to continued good reading. I really love Devil and his buddies.
I have two favorite books first is A Perfect Lover, its the first book I her’s I read and made me go pick up her other books. And second is A Rakes Vow because the heroine has my name :). But her other books are just as great never a disappointment.
Please enter my name in the Stephanie Laurens giveaway; what a wonderful prize! My favorite is still Devil’s Bride.
I would love to win all of Stephanie’s books…Enter me in your contest please.
Love all the Cynster Novels and the Bastion
Club. Can’t wait to read the new Black Cobra Series, it sounds fascinating
I think I have read all of Stephanie’s books.
The Cynsters are fabulous and exciting.
I am re-reading Captain Jack’s Woman right now.
Love her !!!!
To have the whole set would definetly be “Keepers”
A Rogue’s Proposal and On a Wild Night are my favorite Stephanie Laurens books.
I love the Cynster books. The first one I read was A Secret Love. The only one I didn’t care for was On a Wicked Dawn. All the others are great!
I’ve read all of the Cynster family novels except Temptation and Surrender (I’m currently reading it). I haven’t started the Bastion Club yet but I love all her books I’ve read. If I had to pick a favorite I guess it would be A Perfect Lover since that’s the book I picked up at the library that got me hooked on the series. :o) After I finished reading it I ran out and bought the rest.
What an awesome giveaway!!! I cant think of a single one of S Laurens books that I have not loved!
I thought ‘On a Wicked Dawn’ was really good, I liked the one before it, but I cant think of the name………
Lots and lots of favorites but THE PROMISE IN A KISS is extra-special!
My all time favorite Stephanie Lauren book is Devil’s Bride. I just love the strong characters and how Stephanie throws them together in this book. I enjoy all of Stephanie’s book and just finished The Untamed Bride. Once again a great series to read and enjoy
I love all her books. But my favorite is The Devils Bride. They are will matched. I am looking forward to reading her new series. Thanks for all your great books.
I haven’t read any Stephanie Lauren books but am looking forward to reading The Untamed Bride! Looks like a great new series.
I’ve been reading Stephanie Laurens for years, and even though I love the Cynsters and the Bastion Club, it’s Chillingworth’s story, All About Passion, that I’ve re-read at least half a dozen times.
I LOVE Stephanie Laurens books I have read everyone that I know of. I would really love to win this so I could reread all these books.
I haven’t read Stephanie Lauren’s books, but I will be looking to read The Untamed Bride! The Vera Bradley bag full of her books would be wonderful to win. I love reading and the more books the merrier!
Wow! What a wonderful prize! Stephanie Laurens is one of my favorite authors. I think the book I loved the most so far is the Cynster novel, Devil’s Bride. I just received The Untamed Bride and I cannot wait to read it.
My favorite is Devil’s Bride. I love the Bar Cynster books so I guess the one that started it all has my love and loyalty.
I prowl the bookstores looking for each new release, they know me by name now. I started the Cynster series when I blew out a tendon and needed a book to keep myself sane…it has turned into a delightful addiction that I share with my daughters. I write, and would love to sit over coffee and just pick Stephanie’s brain.
I have been a great fan of Stephanie’s since the first Cynster novel came
out. She is such a terrific writer. Devils Bride was the best because it started
the whole series off and is my all time favorite.
i don’t think i could pick a favorite. there hasn’t been one that i didn’t like. she was the author who started me reading historical romance and i’m so glad of it!
I’ll always have a fond memory to Devil’s Bride because it made me read Stephanie Laurens’ works AND it started the Cynster series. Therefore, Devil’s Bride will always be a fave of mine.
I love all of Stephanie Laurens’ books. I especially love the Bastion Club series. My favorite book was Mastered By Love. I was so happy that Daziel finally got his love story. I love how Stephanie Laurens left me hanging about what his real name was. It was really funny that one of the women from one of the books knew his real name since they were friends from childhood and the men didn’t know it. This book really stands out because the Cynsters and the Bastion Club men came together to help Daziel get his wife back and solve the case of the traitor from the beginning of the series to the end of the series. I read this series over and over again until the next book came out. I wish this series didn’t have to end. I have a feeling that the Black Cobra Quartet will be just as great as the Bastion Club series was.
Every Stephanie Laurens book is an adventure. She has become one of my favorite authors. My first Laurens’ book was the first book of hers put out by Avon “Captain Jack’s Woman” and after that “Devil’s Bride” – I was hooked from that point. Her stories are a must read.
I totally enjoyed the Bastion Club series. While I enjoyed each book, I think the character I wanted to know more about was Dalziel and when I heard his story would be told in “Mastered by Love” I simply could not wait to read it. I was not disappointed. I just bought “The Untamed Bride” and can not wait to read it and the rest of the Black Cobra Quartet.
WHICH Stephanie Laurens book is my favorite? That is an impossible task!!! The best way to read a Stephanie Laurens book is in the bathtub with lots of bubbles, a glass (or 2 of wine), no phone, no kids, and a few hours alone!
Keep it up, Stephanie!! We love you!
Every time I believe I have all the Cynsters and the Bastion Club books, she writes another one! They are all wonderful. What I like best is that her heroes know the difference between simple lust and the caring love of all of a woman–her mind and spirit, as well as her body. There are guys like the Cynsters and their friends out there, aren’t there? And now she starts another series. I look forward to them with great hope. Thank you, Stephanie!
I became fascinated with both Devil and his father and it was a natural progression to read the rest of the Cynster books. Loved the way she built up the story line so that they all flowed together. Next was the Bastion club and they lived up to the quality of the Cynsters. Stephanie is articulate without being verbose and makes it difficult to not finish a book once you start. I buy all of her books due to the quality of the content.
Just bought the first book of her new series this afternoon and can hardly wait to start on it.
Thank you for so many hours of pleasure.
Pat Babcock
Wow, there are a lot of comments. I love all the Stephanie Laurens’ books and am very excited about this new series.
Stephanie Laurens is my absolute favorite author. I don’t even have to know what her next book is about before I buy it. She always delivers such a interested and well developed story. I always finish one of her books wanting more. That is why it is so great that she writes about families and connected characters. It makes you feel like the story never truly ends. I am so excited about her new series. Not only will we meet new characters to fall in love with, but we also get the chance to revisit the characters that have already found there way into our hears.
If I have to list a favorite, It would definitely be Devil’s Bride. After I read this story, I had to go out and buy all of Ms. Laurens’ other books. I was captivated by the story between Devil and Honoria. I love the Devil was so sure of the romance right at the beginning of the story. He knew that he had met his destiny and was not afraid to reach out and grab it.
Whenever I have had a bad day, it is so nice to curl up with one of Ms. Laurens’ books and get lost in a world of her making. Her stories are enthralling and I can’t wait to read more.
My favorite stephanie laurens book is Devil’s Bride
I am so thrilled at the idea of 30 books :) by Stephanie Laurens. Fantastic ! A reader’s dream come true. :) I love all the stories but my favorite is Devil’s Bride.
Thank you so much for this chance. :)
Carol L.
My first Stephanie Laurens book was On a Wild Night. After that I devoured the Cynster Books that followed.
I have read most of her books and continue to enjoy each new one. I am fascinated by the protective, passionate Cynsters; The Perfect Lover is one of my favs. Please enter me in this contest.
I love everything of Ms. Laurens I could not pick just one! I do love her older stuff. But the Bastian Clubs novels are really great. I love that she writes in series because I never want them to end and after you read them they show back up later to help out the new hero and his lady! Keep writing, I’ll be waiting for the next one.
Mechelle Wittler
I have read all of the Bastian Club and Cynster novels, but I do love the Cynster series the best of all the books I have read.
I have been in love with the Cynster and Bastian Club men for over ten years! Stephanie Laurens takes us to an era filled with such passion, mystery, suspense, and of course love. I truly am looking forward to the Black Cobra books, and many more to come!
B)I think that The Truth About Love by Stephanie Laurens would be a great book to read. Thanks.
The most recent book I have read is Promise of A Kiss. I have read many of her books, and check them out whenever I get the chance. She is a great author. I like her strong females to go with her strong males. Keep them coming!!
I haven’t read any Stephanie Laurens books but, Temptation and Surrender and Mastered by Love books-look wonderful!
Where the Heart Leads sounds like an amazing book I would love to read. The excerpts I have read from other Stephanie Laurens books are very good, also.
I am a brand new fan and can’t WAIT to read the Black Cobra series. I would love to win all the books, but even if I don’t, I will be sure to read all of the Stephanie Laurens books that I can get my hands on.
I have read Devil’s bride years ago. I loved it. I think I need to sample some of her newer works…I’m sure I’d enjoy them equally as well!
I am looking forward to reading the Black Cobra Series.
Stephanie Laurens is at the top of my list as far as authors go. I have read and enjoyed all of the Cynster and Bastian Club series and everything else in between. She was the first historical romance author I read and I still find her books great. Just purchased the Untamed Bride and I can’t wait to start reading it.
Please enter my name in your contest. Thank you, Nancy B.
Devil’s Bride is my favorite because this book introduced me to Stephanie Laurens. I have read every book and I am looking forward to the Black Cobra series. I was sad when the Bastian Club ended but excited to read the new series. Would love to win the whole back list.
I have enjoyed several of Ms. Laurens books, “Beyond Seduction” is one that I remember well and comes to mind. Looking forward to reading “The Untamed Bride”.
I have a keeper shelf just waiting for Stephanie Laurens’ backlist! What a delightful opportunity to win the books as well as the sweet tote. Thank you for this chance and for the From the Heart heads-up email.
I happen to love all of Stephanie Laurens’ books, although some more than others. I’ve read them all several times. I even got Four in Hand on audio and laugh everytime I listen to it. And, if you enjoy certain stories…it’s great to listen to them on audio as well as to read them.
I can hardly wait to read this new series and, hopefully, more Cynsters.
I absolutely love Stephanie Lauren and it is so hard to choose one title that is my favorite, if have to list a favorite I would have to pick Devil’s Bride. This contest is awesome, combining Stephanie Lauren’s backlist with Vera Bradley, hope I win this great combination!
Stephanie Laurens is the best author of The Regency historical Romance. I recommend anyone of her books to all who loves to get away because she writes so well you feel you are part fo the story. I loose myself in her books all the time. Devils Braide is my favorite, followed by The Master of Love. I just finished her new one The Untamed Bride and cant wait for the next one. Thanks Stephanie for bringing your imagination to us.. I Love it
I absolutely love Stephanie Laurens books!! A Rogues Proposal is one of my favorites. I also love all the excerpts that I have read from her other books:)
I’ll have to start reading to catch up!
The first Stephanie Laurens book I read was A Fine Passion after finishing it I read the Bastion Club Titles I had missed including Captain Jack’s Woman and read the rest as soon as they were available. The only Cynster Novel I’ve read is The Promise in A Kiss but the rest of the Cynster Series is on my definitely read list. I have also read most if not all of the anthologies Stephanie Laurens has appeared in as well as the novels she has written that are not part of a series. I recently completed the first book of the Black Cobra Quartet The Untamed Bride and look forward to the remaining novels. Stephanie Laurens is definitely a must read author and one of my absolute faves.
Devil’s Bride is my favorite, followed very closely by A Lady of His Own. I’ve re-read the series several times, but these two always stand out to me.
ive never read any of her books, but i would love to read The Untamed Bride, it sounds like a good book
I love your books I hope I got here in time please add me to the contest.

My favorite is Devil’s Bride. This was my first Stephanie Laurens book. I had gotten it out of the library on audio (as I spend hours in my car for work). I loved it so much, I bought my own paper copy to read, and keep. Devil Cynster is a wonderful hero!
Wow, my favourite Stephanie Laurens? Um, I’d have to say all of them! Her series are so intertwined that, for me, it’s impossible to choose just one favourite. I love them all!!
Later,
Lynn
