The heroine is at ALMACK's, and [copying from the back cover] ... "Meg Linley had been cursed. Though her beauty could not be denied, she could barely see and was forbidden to wear spectacles. When she inadvertently cuts Beau Brummel at a ball, the scandal sends her packing to the country" ... and so on and so forth. Very fun book. Now I know I'll think of be-spectacled heroines all day :) What sort of a coincidence is this?
