I’m a Rimmer fan from way back. She’s a very talented writer – although I’d like a few more baby-less books. She has another long-running series featuring the Jones family (some really kick ass heroines in that one, too).

I’m reading “Ralphie’s Wives” right now.

I have a feeling SSE is going to become my new favorite series line, since they turned Desire into Presents-lite. (I still like my favorite Desire authors, but some of the newer ones are too Presents-y, which is a line I’ve never been able to get into…) This sounds like a great book…

Maya and Pat–thanks! Natalie and PSwift, I so get your concern. I write a lot of pregnant and post-partum heroines and though I really love sex a lot–as do most of my characters–I’m always careful that they get a doctor’s okay after the baby is born before having intercourse.

I have to echo Natalie’s concern. If they fall into bed a couple of weeks after she delivers I would throw the book across the room.

Although, it otherwise sounds like a book I would read.

@Natalie Hart within a medically approved time. LOL. One of the things I liked was that the relationship seemed to evolve naturally and the two were physically attracted to each other but it wasn't consummated until the medical ok (6 weeks I think) but the tension between the two rose during that period of non consummation.

I have every single book in the Bravo series. The more recent titles, I have in ebook. I haven’t read this one yet, but I bought it the minute it went on sale *g* I’ve loved all the ones I’ve read so far and can’t imagine this one will be any different.

I really liked Rimmer’s single title “Ralphie’s Wives,” but something in this review made me curious. How soon after having this baby did they “fall into a physical relationship”? Just that phrase set off all kinds of red flags — I remember what it’s like to have a first baby.
