A proviso for my Buying Guide. I will be revising to add – buy the cheaper version and a good booklight.

Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. She's currently loving contemporary authors like Sarah Mayberry and Kristan Higgins but her first love will always be the historical. Some of her old time favorites are Amanda Quick and Johanna Lindsey and some of the new favorites are Sherry Thomas, Joanna Bourne and Claudia Dain.

Say What's On Your mind
I haven’t written the 700 off yet. When my local Borders gets one in to play with, I’m going to evaluate it on it’s own rather than by comparing it to the 505.
However, if it’s not much easier on my eyes than my PDA, then I have to decide whether to go with the Kindle or wait a few more months to see if any company comes through on all those upcoming product announcements. I REALLY REALLY want text notes, so the 505 isn’t an option for me.
um… I don’t suppose you’ve heard if any of the UMPCs or mini-PCs can mimic near eInk quality have you? No, wait, don’t answer that. I’ll just be even more confused. *_*
