Copy Keys From a Photo

If I read this in a book, I probably wouldn't have believed it to be possible but apparently there is technology that can copy a key based on a photo.  I.e., you could have someone take a telephoto shot of a set of keys, duplicate those keys based on the photo without having to even come close to the victim.

I think I saw this done on a tv show not too long ago.

The shot does need to be angle on, to exactly duplicate the contours of the key.

Imaging with laser app has progressed hugely in the last few years…very exciting possibilites for contemp and futuristic mysteries, romantic suspense and urban fantasy!
