The only people inconvenienced (or actively ripped off) by DRM are the honest customers who paid for their content. There's no denying that piracy of electronic media is a problem, but DRM isn't a solution; all it does is antagonize the honest customers and make the ones who might be teetering between buying a copy and downloading a free copy tilt over into getting the one that's free <i>and</i> neither opens hackable holes in their computer's security nor stops working after some arbitrary point.
