Chelsea Cain Interview at Keishon’s Blog

We talk alot about Keishon here at Dear Author because she is a dear friend to many of the Dear Author bloggers. She is also one of the primary influences on my reading (as well as others here) for outside the romance genre recommendations. She got me started reading PJ Tracy and Karin Slaughter (although I’m a little peeved about that one still). She has urged us to read Julia Spencer-Fleming whom Janine reviewed earlier this week.

Keishon’s latest love is Chelsea Cain (Wendy, the Superlibrarian, loves her too) and Keishon has an interview of Ms. Cain on her blog.

JaneJane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways. She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation! Email this author | All posts by Jane

Went via the link and loved the interview!

More so, the characters and plot made me totally want to read the series!

Kudos, Keishon! And thank you, Jane!

Thanks for posting the link to the great interview! I first discovered Cain through her “Confessions of Teen Sleuth” (I was always a big Nancy Drew fan, and for anyone who was as well check out that book- it’s pitch perfect!) I loved Heartsick, I’m a big mystery/crime novel fan and since I’ve been dissapointed in Thomas Harris’s last few Hannical Lecter books (formerly one of my favorite series) I’m glad I have a new one to glom onto. :) The twist of the sick female serial killer is very interesting as well.
