eReader.com Has Free Harlequin Giveaway

To encourage iPhone/Mobile readers to try out its mobile ebook reader, eReader.com is giving away thee full length Harlequin novels. These are downloadable by anyone with an eReader account and not a dedicated device giveaway (like Kindle giveaways). The giveaway is only good until September 12, 2008.

The books include:

  • Risque Business by Tawny Weber
  • The Tycoon’s Very Personal Assistant by Heidi Rice
  • His Expectant Ex by Catherine Mann

I read the Catherine Mann book and it’s not bad. It’s definitely worth downloading for free.

JaneJane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways. She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation! Email this author | All posts by Jane

Risque Business is excellent too! Tawny Weber’s books do NOT disappoint!

I definitely enjoyed Tawny Weber’s other two books — Double Dare and Does She Dare — so I’m happy to check out Risque Business too.

Risque Business is an amazing read about a woman I could empathize with. Like Clark Kent, she needs to step into the phone booth and change clothes to become Superman. In this case, it’s a makeover that empowers her to become everything she can be.

And the hero. Who wouldn’t drool over a man who writes erotic suspense for a living?

Hi Jane, thanks for the tip. My library has ebooks but not in the format for iPhone. I downloaded all three and thought THE TYCOON’S VERY PERSONAL ASSISTANT was the best one of the three, which surprised me because I always thought of the Harlequins as old-fashioned. Predictable but a really nice story.
