Hiya!

A lot of the 15th Anniversary books were actually brand new titles, just with the anniversary badge on them to celebrate the special year. :)

I'm working on my next Black Lace at the moment, which is provisionally scheduled for June 09, and they're doing the cover right now, as I've been asked what the heroine's hair colour is. :) I'm also hoping for a reprint of one of my older titles, Shadowplay, during the course of 09.

So as far as I know too, Black Lace is still going strong! I've been assuming that the temporary disappearance of the web site is due to just the reasons Gwen quoted. A move to new premises and new web servers, and a major revamp. Apparently the old one was almost all Flash, and quite difficult to update, so maybe we're getting a new design that's easier to keep up to date, perhaps part of the Random House site?

Just surmising though...

Black Lace is still going strong! My One Breath at a Time was released in March of this year, and many others have been released as well. There are several new anthologies in the works, and I'm waiting on word on the publication date for my next Black Lace novel.

According to my editor, the Black Lace site is being revamped now. Virgin's erotica imprints are now owned by Random House, which might have something to do with the sites not being online at the moment...RH might not have gotten the ball rolling on the new sites as of yet.

Cheers,
Gwen

I received new titles for my newsletter's review team recently. Don't know if that means anything at all. but I doubt they would continue sending new releases for review if they were intending to shut.

Most of the anniversary reprints I've seen have been reprints of older titles. That being said, new books are getting published. Portia Da Costa has a new title coming out in November that I'm particularly excited about (librarian heroine, anyone?). Also, trolling through Baker & Taylor's database, I notice other Black Lace titles coming out in 2009 - including the Lauren Dane and Megan Hart anthology Taking Care Of Business which is due out in March.

So I'm hoping the defunct web site just means they're redesigning or they've been hacked. Cuz dang, if Black Lace closes it's doors I'm going to cry.
