Sarah B, I stayed at a Hampton Inn twice last month in Richmond, B.C. on my way to and from Mexico via Vancouver…for those not in the know, Richmond on Lulu Island is the location of the Vancouver airport. Alas, no horrid experience to share…the hotel was lovely, the bed divinely gorgeous and the front desk staff were wonderful.

I took a day off work and went downtown yesterday to see if I can spot any of my fave authors but no such luck. Hope you all enjoy our beautiful city. I’d recommend Buca di Beppo in Howard Street between 4th & 5th for home cook Italian meal. R&G Lounge @ Kearny ST for best crab. Big portions and really good food. Weather has been cool lately but will heat up a bit towards end of the week so make sure to bring layers.

I love traveling too how were your accommodations? I remember staying in this one hotel that smelled like being downwind of a row of porta-potties, mixed with cigar smoke…it was disgusting! Have you ever had any bad experiences, OMG please share!

Very cool. I only request that it’s kept upbeat. The blogs I read about the RWA conference last year made me never want to attend.
