Kindle Exclusive and Growing Media Attention

Samhain Publishing isn’t the only publisher offering Kindle only exclusives. Through the publishing arm of Amazon, Mitch Albom is selling his “Commencement Speech To His Nephew’s Graduating Class: May 30, 2008, Nice France” for 99 cents. The profits are being donated to a Detroit-based charity for the homeless. Amazon expects more of this Kindle exclusive content.

The question, of course, will be whether Amazon can garner enough exclusive content to lure readers away from other ereading devices.

Kindle is being talked about regularly in the news from the Times to the New York Times to even Warren Buffet, a purported technophone, contemplating the purchase.
