I was kind of confused. Lucian agrees to kill some guy for Catherine if she'll sponsor the girl he wants to marry? Then he starts lusting after Catherine and making out with her while still wanting to marry that other girl? Is that right? If so... not really one that strikes the 'go buy this now' button in me. Is he really called the Devil Earl? Stephanie Laurens kind of killed any nickname like that for me. Especially when they never lived up to it. The Lucian name doesn't bother me, even though it seems common in Regencies, because my kid's named that and I like it. :) So… I was kind of confused.
