A little pimpage for my friends this morning.

Keishon, at avidbookreader.com, is having a giveaway of the hardcover release by Julia Spencer Fleming, I Shall Not Want. This is the 6th book in the series and has a very strong romantic undercurrent so if you like romance and mystery, this is a good fit.

Dionne Galace, author and blogger, has resurrected the serial for romance readers. She first introduced us to Bettie Sharpe and is now running a serial of her own. I haven’t had an opportunity to read it yet, but look forward to doing so this evening.

Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways. She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!

    Ned informed me that no self respecting individual would do the terrorist fist jab after the women on the View did it. I asked him what the replacement would be and he said if I had to ask that I didn’t deserve to know.

    And if people are in the mood for a serial, they can always hie over to my website for a serialisation of my space opera romance, War Games. It’s up to Chapter Eight already, with Chapter Nine ready to roll next Wednesday. Yep, it’s another one-chapter-a-week deal, for anyone interested.
