A bit behind, isn't it?
I don't know about you, but I have a feeling that the industry is in for huge changes in the next few years, and I am not talking about Kindle. Whether that will empower writers and readers is another question.

The funny thing is, Ms. Delors, is that some publishers don't even include the color copy of the book in the efile. Random House is one of those companies. I always go and download the book cover from the publisher's website or amazon and add it to my book file, but it's particularly frustrating. I don't really understand it. Is it that much more costly to include a jpg of the camera ready print cover?

I am in the process of putting together a (free) ebook, and find the real advantage of the eformat, and one that is not exploited enough by the industry, is the ability to include pictures that would be unaffordable in print, and to hyperlink.
Otherwise, I just love the smell and feel of the good ole ink-and-paper books.
