Harry Potter Star Brings the Full Monty Act to the US
By Jane • Apr 9th, 2008 • Category: Publishing News • •Remember when the UK was agog (and the webosphere) with Daniel Radcliffe’s not so throbbing, but nude, member (this whole thing makes me throw up a little in my mouth since I’m old enough to be Radcliffe’s mother and the idea of the little wizard of the boy wizard dangling out there is a bit disturbing) on stage in Equus? Well, it’s coming to Broadway. Get your tickets now, you Potter fans (or Equus fans).
Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.
She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!

snortle (snort crossed with chortle) haha - oh my. I’m a little scared as to who will be buying tickets to go see this show. I’m sure the play is good [the critics liked it, right?] - but everyone knows that the real publicity/draw is Radcliffe. I still can’t get over the fact that he’s not the 11 yr old pre-pubescent HP anymore.
Not to mention that Equus is a twisted, twisted play.
Makes me wonder if Radcliffe will be forever tarred with Harry Potter brush.
