I found this on a bookshelf recently at a friends house and read it right through. It reads like a Noel Coward play or Philadelphia Story. Very tightly written and modern still, but dated… to the 20’s or 30’s.

Thanks for the link. I got the book from Project Gutenberg, repackaged it in HTML, minus the ads, but still including the preface work, and gave it to DH, who just loves this kind of stuff and is a nut for Ancient Greek History. He thanks you for the heads up.
