  4. I missed out on voting this round. One vote difference? WOW! Who was leading over at Smart Bitches? The poll isn’t showing up on their site right now.

  5. I was gunning for Colleen Gleason but I honestly thought The Serpent Prince would win this round. Wow, The Rest Falls Away is definitely turning out to be a dark horse.

  6. A dark horse for a dark day. *wailing and gnashing teeth* I started thinking I didn’t have any chance, but this past week, I began to taste victory, and it tasted like chips and dip.

I have to go – the tears are making a paste out of the ashes on my face.

  8. Completely surprised at how well Gleason has fared in this race. That was my only surprise, really.

  9. I think what these polls show is that DA and SB have very little overlap with the AAR voters because I seriously thought given how well Jo Goodman’s book did in the AAR poll that If His Kiss Was Wicked would also play well. Ditto with Hoyt’s book.
