I absolutely loved the books by Ilona Andrews and I can’t wait for the next in series. I found myself nodding throughout the review as well.

I don’t know if you have read the following but I found them to be a great blend of the cross genres, which I came across when I found Ilona Andrews:

The Study series by Maria V Snyder:
1. Poison Study
2. Magic Study
3. Fire Study

I also enjoyed Lisa Shearin’s: Magic Lost, Trouble Found.

Just finished FIRST YOU RUN a few minutes ago. Fabulous book. Delicious hero, smart heroine…intriguing plot.

And easy to find, too. Good on Pocket for giving it a great print run. Picked up my copy at the grocery store.

I really appreciate this quick little monthly roundup. I always get good ideas from it. And I’m happy to see you recommend the Magic series. Last week I ordered Magic Burns (from Amazon! In my LAST ever order from them).

First You Run looks good, too. And I love that title.

Hey Ciar, don’t worry, I bet the Mayan/2012 thing will only heat up, and I’m sure your book is wildly different from this.

Most of the manga I review here are MF Sherry. Cipher is one of those. Unfortunately, there were no other volumes of MF that are coming out in April that I’d recommend.
