Okay readers, don’t get too bent out of shape, this is not a sports article about why I loved seeing the Giants win (or better yet, having Tom Brady lose). Earlier in the week there was an interesting article on slow publishing times due to the mass amount of marketing needed to have a successful book. With the Giants winning last night, and the marketing engine at full speed, the first book to capitalize could be one by Skyhorse Publishing. Publishers Weekly says author Ralph Vacchiano by be the “first out of the gate with a book appraising the 27-year old’s remarkable transit to Super Bowl MVP with The Making of a Quarterback: The Turbulent Triumph of Eli Manning and the New York Giants.”
After reading the article by Publishers Weekly sports fans may find Ralph’s work very interesting.

Geez, it was ONE Superbowl.
Srsly.
But a pretty amazing one. And watching his last drives down the field you felt like something was happening that was a culmination of the entire Giants’ season, like a coming of age. It was the first Superbowl that riveted me to the television in a long, long time.
I’m sure the publishers are thrilled at the win. Of course, I’d bet there were a couple of Brady / Pats book publishers out there that aren’t too happy.
One more Superbowl I couldn’t get into, though I admit it was less boring than most. I also had to cheer up my guy, who is a Patriots fan. :(
