		<description>So, is it alright if authors read the queries and give feedback?

I approached my first query letter (which I no longer have) like a letter of introduction. It's really hard for me to puff myself up (honestly!) so the hardest part was making my book sound like something an editor would really want to see. What if it failed to meet expectations? Anyway, the first paragraph was a little about myself and why I was writing to them. The second paragraph was all about the book -- short and packed with a lot about the conflict and the relationship. The third paragraph was about my writing experience, background, etc. Other people have much more exciting templates, but I think the most important part of any letter is to get across the central conflict and romance of the book. 

And kudos to everyone who submits! I'm not sure I'd ever be brave enough to do so -- even after having 14 books published! lol.</description>
