The first book of yours that I read was ‘The Hob’s Bargain’, which I reread on a regular basis. I’ve bought every book you’ve published since then and you have one of the top bookshelves in my permanent bookshelf. I’m so glad that you persevered, that your husband encouraged you – and that Laura Ann Gilman had good taste! I am really looking forward to the Anna and Charles book, and just wanted to say that I am so grateful to you for all of the wonderful stories!

I’m embarassed to say that I wasn’t aware of your work until Mercy’s series. But I suspect that may be true with a lot of Romance fans.

Since Romance fans are a bit… um… different and maybe a wee bit obsessive about “our” stories, I was wondering what this whole ride has been like for you since the Mercy books took off.

Ms. Briggs, like Anon above me I am another of your Fangirls. Thank God you have sold your first book and kept on writing. Otherwise I would have never had the pleasure of reading your other great books such as Iron Kissed. I love, love your latest book. I love the complex world where your three dimensional characters live their lives; it is a world where they grow and change through their various experiences and in their relationships. For that while when I am reading your book, I get to be part of that great world. And I appreciate that experience very much. I will be waiting for your next book with a great impatience.
