Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.
She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!

Yep. That’s the fewest titles I’ve seen on the list yet. ::Prays hard to never be given a December release::
I wonder though if a late December release, i.e., a January release in publishing lingo, would be just the thing. Christmas is finally over and not much happens at workplaces at the end of the year, and readers who’ve been busy buying for others finally get a chance to buy for themselves.
I’m really looking forward to Shana Abe’s Queen of Dragons and Joanna (sp?) Bourne’s Spymaster’s Lady
Only 12 days more…
Yep, add to that Lynn Viehl’s Evermore and Louise Allen’s rampaging Virgin Slave, Barbarian King, and that’s my January reading sorted.
Also really looking forward to yours, Sherry.
Thanks!
I hovered my mouse over your name, Meriam, and boy do you have one of the best blog names or what.
I’m reading Shana Abe’s The Last Mermaid–saw it in the library yesterday and grabbed it. I’m on a tight deadline, and still I inhaled 200 pages of it last night. She is so fantastic at intricate, marvelous worldbuilding.
I don’t know why I didn’t go on a glomming rampage after I read the Thief books. Guess I’ll be doing just that in January, when I take my sabbatical from writing.
