USA Today Bestseller List Predictions
By Jane • Nov 7th, 2007 • Category: Publishing News • •Last week was a big debut week and there should be new additions to the USA Today list that is published tomorrow. It is likely that Janet Evanovich, Wife for Hire; Nora Roberts, Dead of Night; and Sherrilyn Kenyon, Upon the Midnight Clear, will be in the top fifteen (maybe even the top 10).
In the top thirty, I expect to see Suzanne Brockmann, All Through the Night; Kresley Cole, Wicked Deeds on a Winter Night; Fern Michaels, Comfort and Joy; and Nora Roberts, Truly Madly Manhattan.
Newcomers Jeaniene Frost, Halfway to the Grave and C.L. Wilson, Lady of Light and Shadow may appear in the Extended List.
Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.
She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!

I expect to see Kresley Cole under 100, and I think Jeaniene Frost will hit the list.
I scanned the new book releases at my local grocery store (I’m a nerd) and didn’t see anything else that jumped out at me.
