It begs to be read aloud. I can't say that I like all of Atwood's fiction but this one was magic for me. The library has delivered "Gates of Fire" which I will get to once I've finished re-reading "The Penelopiad". I have to re-read because the poetry in even the text portions caught me and I read for sound/rhythm; now I have to go back and read the story rather than chanting it. The library doesn't have this book but does have "E". So many books, so many choices, joy! I am really enjoying the non-romance reviews.
