I’m jealous. I didn’t know about the PJ party, but it sounds like so much fun. And you had quilters there. My two fave things on the planet, quilts and books, and in your pjs no less. It’s a good thing I’ve never been to one. Y’all would still be trying to run me out the door.

I love Beverly’s books so much I’ve been inspired to try my hand at historicals. (Many, many books down the road, of course!) -lol-

Buzz sells books - I just got caught by the ripple effect.

Last week’s article on the boxing match didn’t tempt me to read the “The Fighter” although I seem to be reading a fair amount of CanLit at the moment and I was interested to hear that Davidson’s publicist at Penguin Canada boxed at the same event. This week’s article left me feeling glad that Jenkin’s could talk so enthusiastically about her PJ party, impressed by her professionalism, but not interested in tracking down any of her books.

Then Kalen adds a comment that she LOVES Jenkin’s historicals and suddenly I’m reading excerpts and trying to pick from the 13 titles at Fictionwise. Does anyone have any advice? (I think I’ll try the boxing book as well BUT no digital edition AND published by Penguin - it will have to come from the library).

~Women who’ve come as strangers have ended up becoming such good friends, one woman is godparent to another attendee’s child. They would never have met had they both not come to the first PJ.~

Beverly is a great author and the PJ party sounds like so much fun. I would love to see if there will be any live online author parties for those of us that might not be able to make the PJ.
