The legs belong to me, or so everyone assumes, until I point out that no fiction author appears on her book’s cover (because it’s, you know, fiction and not memoir). So let’s say that they’re your legs. Good gams!
Let’s also say that cover #2 was infinitely preferable to cover #1 and leave it at that.

I thought Gayle did an excellent job of capturing the flavor of a Southern town — and the wilting heat.

I had the pleasure of reading this ARC – and was delightfully surprised. You could feel the hot humid air floating off the book. Natalie’s journey of finding her place in a brand new environment was worth the trip for me.
