I love this idea. I was totally into making mixed tapes for my friends and boyfriends in junior high. Once, I was grounded for a month with no phone privileges in the summer and my best friend and I communicated through mixed tapes (a combination of music and spoken messages) made every other day and left in a location at the corner of my house. She only lived a block away so she'd come pick my tape up and leave hers. I loved those tapes. Just call me a geek :)
