Harry Potter of Teens: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer Sets New Printing Record

Stephenie Meyer’s third book, EclipseEclipse is rolling out in hardcover today with a 1 million book print run. It is Little, Brown’s largest first copy print run for a Young Adult book.

Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.

Woman came in to my store today and said they sold out of Eclipse close after midnight. They’d had a “prom” party for the release.
After reading Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, I felt as if my entire world had changed. Stephenie Meyer has such an amazing imagination, and talent to write. I’m quite looking forward to her newest book coming out.
