Yup, it’s even worse in dollars. Something like 450 $ (gosh, that does indeed look even worse …). But hey, *most* of it (except for the three 19th-century travel guides I bought yesterday) is for academic research. So it’s nothing frivolous. All serious, serious research.

Right, I admit it: at the prospect of old books, my inner Gollum breaks free every time. *g*
