So far I've enjoyed Libby's London Merchant, One Good Turn, Mrs. Drew Plays Her Hand, Miss Whittier Makes a List and Reforming Lord Ragsdale to varying degrees. I also have several of Ms. Kelly's books in the TBR pile, so it's possible I'll be reviewing more of them in the future.

*whistles*…a C, huh? I knew there was a reason why I couldn’t finish this one. Ms. Kelly, wonderful author online, classy lady. Her books are hit or miss with me. What other books of hers have you enjoyed?

Maybe it’s just me, but the idea of crabs having a minor starring role in a romance book is just hilarious.

I liked Susannah well enough, but I don’t think she was as vividly drawn as some of Kelly’s other heroines. James and his trauma were the focus of the book, and while I don’t think he was amazing, he was certainly unusual and memorable.

I also gave this one a C+, but for different reasons. I never warmed up to Susannah, found her on some level too passive. Though I do think James was an amazing hero.
