In an amicable separation, pro EC author, Sarah McCarty, told Sybil at The Good, The Bad and The Ugly that she will no longer writing for EC. While McCarty states that it was a very civil parting of the ways and the door remains open, I feel sad for the fans who won’t be getting the Zach’s Obsession AND Promises Redeem. Related Posts: Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. She's currently loving contemporary authors like Sarah Mayberry and Kristan Higgins but her first love will always be the historical. Some of her old time favorites are Amanda Quick and Johanna Lindsey and some of the new favorites are Sherry Thomas, Joanna Bourne and Claudia Dain.

Without knowing all the details but being a true fan of every book that
Sarah McCarty has written I donot understand why some agreement
cannot be reached.We the fans have been waiting for Promises Redeem
& Zachs Obsession for at least a yr or more & were thinking we would be
able to have these books in the near future.
Yes, I posted something similar on my blog, Let’s Gab. It was an amicable split… and even though we aren’t getting Zach’s Obsession and Promises Redeem we WILL be getting TEN books from her between November 2007 and into early 2009. Can’t complain there.
A parting of ways explains the reflective tone of McCarty’s comments on Karen’s blog. It has certainly been an “interesting” month for e-pubs .

What I want to know is where is Sarah McCarty these days??
Her website doesn’t seem to have been upgraded in ages?
I am a die-hard fan in search of info.. if anyone has any?
