Thanks for the interview, Sasha. I actually just went on a SW glom-buy at Amazon and I’m waiting for some of your backlist to get here! I read Bound a while back, and loved it-the b/d elements weren’t the whole story, and they were realistic. And HOT. I also just finished Lush, and boy do I need some carpentry work done around the house…….
One question: Do you ever plan to revisit Jake and Miranda from Gypsy Heart?

I agree with you VIvi, about genre fiction in Canada in general. I’m not sure why it is, because Canadians read a lot, butwe don;t seem to get too fired up over the authors?? I think maybe becasue of the very few times I’ve seen booksingings – of any type- they’ve been very low key affairs. No one up here celebrates the authors success in a way that actually draws attention to it. At least not in this city. LOL

I can’t tell you how excited I am that somebody is finally paying attention to Sasha and her work. Every time I read one of her books I’m reminded about what a great author she really is.

My favorite book of Sasha’s so far is Bound. I identified with Katie and as I was reading Bound I understood exactly how she felt and felt it with her. And Joe (hero) well there isn’t enough written about Joe. This book is not about sex, it has family obligations, it has friends and all the other things that happen to you and me. But it is HOT!!! In my opinion the longer the story, the more I like it. But again Sasha has proven me wrong in my judgement of longer is better because LUSH just released and OMG! How can she make me care about characters when the story is so short? LUSH has 3 very hot and very believable stories in it.

She is so amazing and I hope you readers branch out and take a chance on Sasha’s work because you will join our ever growing group of fans and just so you know – author’s don’t come anymore generous than Sasha White. She gives her books away in contests all the time and other goodies as well.

She truly is a GEM and I”m so happy that I found her. She makes my day great all the time!

Just to add to Sasha’s awesome interview, I personally think Canadians are in the closet about reading romance and erotica. I find genre fiction frowned upon in this country. There are a ton of great romance, sci-fi/fantasy and horror writers here but they are not well known. I think Canada needs to embrace their artists more. Then we wouldn’t all move down to the states to be recognized and make money.
