TokyoPop Ramps Up Production to Capture More Young Readers
By Jane • Mar 13th, 2007 • Category: Publishing News • •TokyoPop is offering more titles this fall than ever before with titles for all ages such as the Cine-Manga for young children based on the Pixar movie Ratatouille. In its partnership with HarperCollins, Tokyopop will release two books this summer including Avalon High: Coronation #1: The Merlin Prophecy (Avalon High Coronation) by Meg Cabot, a sequel to the popular Avalon High. In the fall, another Avalon High: Coronation #2: Homecoming (Avalon High Coronation) will be available along with the first of a three series manga based on Ellen Schreiber’s Vampire Kisses series.

Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.
She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!
