I remember when I felt sick of reading about heroes with PTSD and that seems to have been abandoned. Let's keep our fingers crossed.</description>

		<description>I'd love it if Regency writers retired that nobleman/spy plot device.  It's played out.  Has been for a while.  I've seen the nobleman/spy hero done well,  but it's been many years since I've found it even slightly interesting.
There are other paths that a regency romance hero can take.  Why bother to write the story if you can't put your own special spin on it?   With the exception of the spying, this stoy sounds just like one of Mary Balogh's earlier books from the late '80s, early '90s.</description>
