I agree that some exposition regarding how having Kylie in her life made her realize the futility of the unsuccessful fertility options. It would have closed that emotional dangling chad.

Guess I should have read that over before pressing “submit”! I meant to say:

I want to read more of EC Sheedy’s books because I did end up liking this book.

However, I felt there should have been some (brief) explanation about wanting a biological child was so important especially when Camryn’s maternal needs seem to have been met with her guardianship of Kylie.

I read this book over the weekend and wanted to do a review and was wondering how to put my thoughts together about it. EC Sheedy was a new to me author and I finished the book feeling exactly the same way you do. I want to read more, but I had the same problems with Camryn and her infertility. Especially since my DH and I are an infertile couple and have adopted two kids I wondered why have a biological child was so important to her and why some explanation was given when it seemed her maternal needs were met with Kylie.

Thanks for really nailing this book in the review. I think I’ll like to you when I post about it. : )

Wow… this can’t be good. We like the same book. Does that mean hell has frozen over?

Great review! Of course I liked the love story more than you but hey we can’t have everything *g*.
