Harlequin Sales Down Due to Decreased Direct Sales

While retail sales increased for Harlequin C$9.9M, direct to consumer sales declined by C$5.7M compared to 2005. According to Tor, the decrease in direct sales were the result of the bankrupty of a supplier, lowering shipments. The number of books shipped was about 131 M. Harlequin includes to “invest in new products and digital initiatives.
