All Nora, All the Time: Lifetime Becomes Noratime
By Jane • Jan 28th, 2007 • Category: Publishing News • •Not content with ruling the publishing world, Nora Roberts aims to take over the small screen starting with cable channel, Lifetime. Lifetime has an entire page devoted to Ms. Roberts, her movies and her books. There is a blog, exclusive video and a message board, in case you don’t get enough of Ms. Roberts at A Day Without French Fries. There is also a contest for those watching the movies.
Tune in to the first film, “Angels Fall,” at 9 pm et/pt January 29 and take note of the keyword that appears on-screen. When you see Nora in her cameo appearance, text the keyword to 58463 (LTIME) for a chance to win the prize.
Thanks, Sybil.
Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.
She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!

I just hope the movies are good. I remember watching Sanctuary and wasn’t too impressed. Sanctuary is one of my fave NR books.
I can’t wait to watch these.
Let’s hope they don’t do a Danielle Steel on the movies. Is it just me, or did the Steel movies just scream Great Big Hairy Cheeseball?
They were so overly dramatic, they made my head hurt.
i’ve never watched a steel… or read one, i don’t think
