The Macworld Keynote is taking place right now. Steve Jobs said that contrary to published reports, iTunes is doing phenomenally well, surpassing Amazon to be the #4 retailer of music in the market. Next up is Target, the #3 retailer. iTunes sells 58 songs a second and has sold 50m TV shows and 1.3m movies. Via Engadget.  Jane is a long time romance reader whose passion is, you guessed it, reading. Jane also does not like to talk about herself in the third person, but apparently this is the way that this biography thing works (although in a true biography, someone else would be writing this blurb). Anyway, currently Jane loves urban fantasy authors Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews. She's really excited about this year's crop of historicals including Joanna Bourne's The Spymaster's Lady and Sherry Thomas' Private Arrangements and the upcoming Loretta Chase Her Scandalous Ways.
She's looking for a good contemporary author. Email her with a recommendation!

I am all over that one. I was just crowing to Ned that my contract comes up in May for Verizon. I’ll be cancelling that in a nanosecond.
Oh yeah, an iphone. I want, I want. Looks like a great ebook reader (too bad it takes phone calls, I’m too busy reading).
